Severed Bond Fated Omega (Jason and Sophia) novel Chapter 6

Chapter6.

At home, I drank a glass of ice water to steady myself. Jason was in the living room. I sat down.

Silence. Then, Jason spoke, I was negotiating a deal. Making a scene at that club reflects poorly on me. Don’t you think you were foolish and unpleasant? Like a shrew?

Anything else?I asked calmly.

If you want to stay with me, drop the jealousy. I don’t have time for

Okay, anything else?

Jason frowned. Sophia, you’re being annoying.

your

emotions.

I stood up, a smile playing on my lips. Soon you won’t be. I went upstairs.

Jason went up to our room. I was already asleep. He showered and got into bed, but I scooted. away from him.

He pulled me close, forceful and angry.

I lay stiffly all night. My wolf and I didn’t sleep for whole night.

The next morning, I made only my breakfast. Jason came down, saw me eating alone, then came to the table and leaned down, softening his voice, Let’s go on a boat trip this weekend. Just us.

I hummed in response, sipping my milk.

Unsurprisingly, he canceled on the eve of the weekend-a trip to other Pack. I felt nothing. He hadn’t really shown any interest in spending time with me in ages. He warned me against bonding severance, but he’d already treated me like I was invisible.

That weekend, I packed my books and took them to my new apartment. While putting them away, my motherinlaw, Vera, called.

I answered politely.Mrs. Winter.

Vera sounded arrogant.Come back. We need to finalize the agreement.

Is that really necessary?

It is.

Fine. I’ll be there this afternoon.

Come at noon.

Alright.

I agreed; I had nothing better to do. Vera, upstairs, watched Tanner Cooper stroll with Jason in the garden. She wanted me to see that Tanner was the perfect match for her son.
