Nate’s eyes lit up at once. He lived for this kind of drama.

Julliard replied calmly, “She was surrounded by too many people. I didn’t get a good look. As for Lex…”

He deliberately trailed off, baiting Nate’s curiosity. His eyes lowered slightly, concealing the cold glint behind them.

Nate was terrible at keeping secrets. If he caught wind of something like this, it would become the centerpiece of every drunken dinner and idle conversation with his rowdy friends. And not one of them was known for discretion.

Within a month, the story would spread through every corner of high society.

But that still wasn’t enough.

As these thoughts churned in Julliard’s mind, Nate had already grown impatient and pressed for more details.

“Come on, Julliard, just how twisted is Lex? I heard he’s well into his thirties and still doesn’t have a girlfriend. There were even rumors he was chasing Victoria for years and never got anywhere. Looking back, that must’ve been a cover, right? The truth is, he’s a full-blown pervert, isn’t he?”

Gossip gleamed in Nate’s eyes like a child discovering treasure.

Julliard was speechless. He hadn’t even said much, and Nate had already filled in the rest on his own.

Julliard finally gave a vague reply. “Something like that.”

Nate wasn’t satisfied. “But how exactly is he perverted? Come on, you still haven’t told me! Wait, don’t tell me… he actually took his pants off?”

The very thought made Nate recoil with visible disgust.

“That can’t be, right? There are security cameras everywhere. Doesn’t he care about being caught?”

Nate frowned skeptically. “Sounds like those people were afraid of offending Lex, so they softened the story and tried to paint him in a better light.”

Hearing their conversation, Carter glanced over at Julliard, a flicker of curiosity in his gaze.

Under normal circumstances, Julliard wouldn’t have entertained Nate’s gossip. He might even have warned him to keep quiet. But today, for some reason, he was actively feeding it.
