Nate let out a low whistle. “Sharon did say she’d already handled him. I guess she literally smashed his hand to pieces. Damn, that’s hardcore. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.”

Julliard asked calmly, “Carter, do you want me to intercept Damien’s company orders? I can get the Macaron Group to cooperate.”

A cold glint flashed in Carter’s eyes. “Just intercepting orders would be letting him off way too easy.”

A sharp, understanding look passed over Julliard’s face, “Carter, are you saying…”

“On my turf, he dared to lay a hand on someone under my protection. That kind of arrogance calls for a lesson he’ll never forget.”
