“No.” Sharon cut him off, brows knitting. “Thomas is not that kind of guy.”

Julliard’s eyes narrowed. “Sharon, you trust him that much?”

“I don’t trust him,” she replied evenly. “I trust what I see with my own eyes.”

His breath hitched. “But what you see isn’t always the truth. Sometimes, it’s all just a mask!”

Sharon gave him a startled look. “If he really were after money, then I would be his prime target. Yet I’ve never once felt any malice from him.”

She was worth a fortune now. If Thomas harbored ulterior motives, he would have made a move on her long ago. But instead…

“Whether with me, Wendy, or Casey, he’s never crossed the line,” she continued. “At most, he’ll tease Carter for my sake, but always within bounds. He’s never used that as an excuse to touch me or act overly familiar. With Theo and Matty, he’s been nothing but appropriate.”
