SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS novel Chapter 20

Chapter 20: Chapter 20

Diamond was left with roughly sixty chickens after keeping some to herself, so she truthfully told Cecilia.

Cecilia was so glad when she heard this that she paid for all the remaining chickens via transfer as she was afraid that Diamond may change her mind.

Diamond was so happy that she, "When the second batch arrives, I will inform you."

"You better! I will send someone to come and pick them up!"

Diamond kindly sent off Cecilia and let Janet serve the guests when they arrived. As for her, she went to take that needed bath she had been craving for hours.

When she came downstairs, Janet was sending off the guest and her dinner was ready and piping hot waiting for her.

Diamond hated eating by herself when she was home, so she dined with Janet and this had become a norm. She didn't see a reason to look down on hard-working people. At some point, she was at the bottom there as well.

After dinner, she watched TV to catch up with some recent news, and at around ten she went to her bedroom. She had to sign in for the day, after all.

Diamond had received a lot of rewards and they were all good, though there hadn't been a fixed asset, like the farm or the buildings.

On that night, she received a shocking reward that got her insomnia for the whole night. Her complexion was practically bad, but thanks to the wonderful beauty products she was using, she looked just fine when she left the house.

She delivered the frozen chickens to her employees and went on to do her work, which was mainly receiving reports from all departments on the issues they talked about the previous day.

Before the end of the day, she held another meeting where they discussed the first mission and how to deal with it.

At the end of the day, Diamond drove back home to ponder on her previous reward. She needed to have her head settled first before signing in for another reward that night.

In her room, she couldn't help but look at the title deeds that she had carefully stored in her other hidden safe.

Diamond had been trying her best to forget about that place. She even avoided hearing the name for years, as only painful memories would bomb her.

Of all things to get, she received a house title deed for a luxurious apartment in a well-known building that many envied, Lotus Palace. This palace was a place where the rich resided and even those that were rich couldn't even live there even if they wanted as they were strict requirements for tenants.

She couldn't help but recall when she was still in college and dating that second-rich-generation boy, he was always talking about that place. She could tell that so many people wanted to be there, but it was unfortunate that they couldn't.

So, to receive a luxurious apartment on a higher floor for free was simply too unbelievable. It also made her wonder why the system chose that city she ran away from years ago.

They had picked to go to a school, a high school, and help the girls there. And that was something that was going to be done during the week. Her people had already communicated with the school.

of course, it wasn't about the publicity; she didn't want any of that, so there wasn't any need to bring reporters but just themselves.

Just like this, days flashed by very fast, and during these days, Diamond received the foundation's vehicles. She also received reports on the farm and there was a lot that needed to be done, but that would wait until she was done.

At the same time, the underground floor was fully renovated, and the freezers were all in place. Now she could store her chickens in peace without placing them at her house.

At the same time, she couldn't help but think of how to use the other floors in the building.

Diamond and some of her employees left on a Tuesday morning of the following week. The place wasn't that far away, just three hours from Frin and the group spent that time talking and having some fun.

When they arrived, it was around twelve, as they had to stop during the journey. Looking at the badly damaged road, she couldn't help but think of how tough people were having it here.

Now that she had money, her ways of thinking had changed greatly. She wanted to make a change, but she couldn't do this by herself.

and before she even thought of doing anything great, she needed to start with her own family first.
