As soon as Kyle said that, the three golems changed.
They realized that they couldn't stall anymore and entered combat mode.
Sulfur's arms turned into massive blades.
Hieronymus' teeth elongated. At the same time, his body shrank, while his head remained the same size.
In essence, Hieronymus was now a walking maw with terrifying teeth.
The ground cracked as Sulfur charged forward.
Hieronymus shot to the side, blocking the most obvious path of retreat for Kyle.
A streak of fire appeared behind Sulfur, curving around him to shoot at Kyle.
BANG!
Kyle charged towards his left, his body instantly reaching its maximum speed.
BOOOOOM!
Sulfur's blade hit the ground, missing Kyle.
The fireball curved, following Kyle as he charged towards Hieronymus.
Suddenly, Hieronymus' hind legs exploded, shooting him towards Kyle at shocking speeds.
Meanwhile, Sulfur readied his second blade as he followed Kyle as well.
Kyle reached Hieronymus' mouth with incredible speed.
Hieronymus bit down.
But then, Kyle suddenly stopped, mere inches away from the approaching Hieronymus.
BANG!
Hieronymus' mouth clamped shut in front of Kyle.
It had clamped down on something, but it wasn't its target's body.
Meanwhile, Kyle held his hammer forward, which was now firmly between Hieronymus' teeth.
Kyle suddenly moved to the side with more speed, and Hieronymus shot past him, still having the hammer in its mouth.
The fireball angled to the side.
Naturally, the three of them had been programmed to fight together. They wouldn't make such a rookie mistake like letting Hieronymus run into Granite's Spell.
The fiery speck near Kyle's Center became more intense as a ton of Ether entered Kyle's body.
Then, he swung his hammer.
Hieronymus let go of the hammer, but the hammer's pick simply rose upwards, burying itself into the ceiling of its maw.
Finally, Kyle swung Hieronymus right into Granite's Spell.
BOOOOOOM!
A fiery explosion appeared around Hieronymus, but Granite had detonated the Spell early.
Hieronymus' body heated up significantly, but it wasn't enough to damage it significantly.
An instant later, Sulfur's blade entered the explosion, and it directly targeted Kyle.
Kyle just lifted Hieronymus to block the attack, but Sulfur's blade stopped before it could hit Hieronymus.
Meanwhile, Kyle just smirked.
'Oh, Theodor,' he thought. 'You have taught me so much about how golems fight. Whenever you saw Lily's golems hitting each other, you boasted that your three main golems would never make such a mistake.'
'After all, you programmed them to never attack each other.'
'Sure, you also gave Granite an override command that allows him to strike one of the other two in case of an emergency.'
Kyle glanced through the fiery explosion, right at Sulfur.
'But Sulfur doesn't have that.'
BANG!
Ignition was launched, and Kyle shot right at Sulfur.
Sulfur could see that Kyle was extremely dangerous.
Right now, Kyle was upgraded to a Peak Third Realm threat in its mind.
The highest priority in these situations was to protect Lord Theodor, but Lord Theodor was not present.
The second highest priority was to protect Granite.
Sulfur moved to the side, staying between Kyle and Granite.
Sulfur could see Kyle approaching.
Yet, it realized that the chances of hitting Hieronymus were way too high.
The third highest priority was not to strike the other golems.
So, there was only one thing Sulfur could do.
He crossed his arms and blocked.
Meanwhile, Granite unleashed a different Spell.
Kyle felt the air between him and Granite turning electric, and he knew what was about to come.
He held Hieronymus to the front.
But that didn't matter.
BOOOOM!
A violent bolt of lightning hit Hieronymus, breaking it into pieces.
Parts of the lightning also hit Kyle, but Hieronymus had absorbed the majority of the power.
When Sulfur saw that Hieronymus was no longer there, he launched his own attacks.
