Sebastian blinked a couple of times in surprise as he realized what Kyle had just suggested.
A Gank?
He looked at Kyle for a moment.
Kyle felt extremely dangerous but not unbeatable.
Perfect for a True Battle.
Then, he looked at the Second Advisor.
Impossible to beat…
On his own.
But with Kyle…
It wasn't impossible.
The next moment, the world lost its hue as the Second Advisor activated her Momentum. "This had gone on for long enough," she spoke with a dark tone. "Will you comply or not?"
Sebastian felt a bit intimidated and glanced at Kyle.
Kyle narrowed his eyes.
In Kyle's eyes, Sebastian couldn't see fear but conviction.
Sebastian smirked a bit before looking at the Second Advisor.
"Tell me," he said slowly, "did you actually ever intend to give me my Ether Essence?"
"What? Higher salary?" Kyle interjected with a voice transmission before the Second Advisor could answer. "The economy is tough right now. Maybe next year. We already give you benefits like free water and a rewards card. By the way, I got a five-digit bonus for my department's performance."
Sebastian snorted with a laugh.
"Of course!" the Second Advisor said, answering Sebastian's question. "Right after you kill him!"
"Which one?" Sebastian asked.
The Second Advisor's right eyelid twitched in frustration. "I can't make that decision."
Sebastian sighed.
"Could've just said no," he grumbled.
"Wage cuck realizes that his employer isn't interested in his success, colorized," Kyle transmitted with a laugh.
"Should've known," Sebastian said with annoyance.
The next moment, his eyes narrowed as balls of lightning gathered around him.
The Second Advisor furrowed her brows.
Was Sebastian actually following orders now?
Well, why else was he summoning his attacks?
Then, her eyes narrowed as she came up with a ridiculous idea.
Was Sebastian going to attack her?
No, that wouldn't make any sense.
Sure, he was the most powerful Expert who had ever existed, as far as she knew, but the gap between a mortal and a Transcendent was impossible to cross.
Sebastian wasn't stupid.
He had to know that he didn't have a chance.
"I need a tank," Sebastian transmitted to Kyle.
Kyle smirked.
"Coming right up!" he transmitted back.
BANG!
Fire appeared around Kyle as he charged forward at full speed.
In an instant, he reached incredible speeds.
The Second Advisor noticed that Kyle was attacking and narrowed her eyes. Now that Kyle had attacked her, she didn't need Sebastian anymore.
She could kill Kyle without any damage to her Karma since he had been the one who had attacked first.
An icy storm gathered around her.
The next moment, she just pointed her hand at Kyle's approaching hammer.
She could kill him right now, but she was quite annoyed with Sebastian, which was why she wanted to make Kyle suffer a bit.
A concentrated beam of ice froze Kyle's hammer.
There was so much Ice Ether that any Rank A Material would just break into shards of ice after just the slightest impact.
Then, she just slapped the hammer.
CRACK!
Rank A Materials?
