Chapter 100
Seeing both of them come out unscathed, Yvonne was so angry she nearly bled from all seven orifices.
Letting Josephine go was one thing–after all, she hadn’t laid a hand on anyone.
But her lover had injured her son–how could she let that go so easily?!
Yvonne went out to call Korbin.
Korbin’s first reaction was: Did he win the fight?
When he learned Wilfred had lost, Korbin only felt humiliated.
But after all, Wilfred was his son, so he started thinking about who would be the right person to handle this.
When he heard Yvonne say Owen had stepped in, he instantly felt it was unnecessary.
With the strength of their families, if they really went head–to–head with Thalassa Group, it would only end in mutual destruction.
But it just wasn’t worth it.
All of Thalassa Group’s high–end properties used Novo Tech’s smart systems and equipment.
Every year, replacements, maintenance, and upgrades alone brought in tens of millions in profit.
Add in new product orders and collaborations, and the profits conservatively exceeded 300 million.
Wilfred’s injuries would heal in ten days or half a month.
If Novo Tech lost Thalassa Group as a client, it would be like losing an arm.
After hearing Korbin’s analysis, Yvonne could only swallow her anger.
But the feeling was like swallowing needles…

Josephine had just learned that Jovitas General Hospital also belonged to Thalassa Group.
So when something happened to her and Zachery, Mr. Keller and Hendrix both immediately asked Owen to step in.
Josephine tilted her head slightly, observing Owen.
He was tall and lean, standing with a lazy posture. His face wore a half–smile, half–scowl, giving off a shrewd, fox–like slickness.
Owen’s lips curled faintly as he sized up Josephine as well.
She was quite tall, with an air of pride that wasn’t arrogance, and an undeniable strength radiated from her…
Someone coughed lightly.
Owen quickly turned his face away…
Jaxson didn’t want to offend either side, so he invited both parties to the reception room on the second floor to mediate.
Except for Helena and Belinda.
As soon as Yvonne sat down, she pressed on relentlessly: “You beat him so badly, you have to kneel and apologize.”
Hendrix replied, “An apology is out of the question, but we can pay compensation.”
Shane said, “Who wants your filthy money?”
Finn retorted, “We don’t even want to give it, right, Mr. Carver?”
Owen slouched in his seat as if he had no bones, his voice lazy as well.
“You can give me money, but if you want me to pay… that’s not going to happen.”
Declan lost patience: “Then what’s the point of talking? Just have this Zachery Maynard kneel and apologize.”
Owen smiled and looked over at Zachery, “Dr. Maynard, what do you think?”
Josephine didn’t know how far Owen would go for her and Zachery.
But if it meant Zachery had to kneel and apologize to end today’s farce, she would never

agree.
Since it all started because of her, if anyone had to kneel, it should be her.
Josephine’s eyes were full of unwillingness.
Her lips parted, about to say “Impossible,” when Zachery reacted.
He pressed a faint smile to his lips and calmly picked up the teacup in front of him.
He lifted his eyelids and asked Owen, “Would you like some tea?”
Owen’s expression suddenly turned serious, and even his posture became upright.
He spoke each word clearly and deliberately:
“Ms. Copeland and Dr. Maynard are both people of my Thalassa Group. Gentlemen, don’t even think about ganging up to bully them.”
“If you keep pushing, I’ll get to the bottom of this.”
“If it turns out that Ms. Copeland and Dr. Maynard have been wronged in the slightest…”
