Josephine could clearly feel Zachery’s breath drawing even closer to her.

It brushed softly across her face, tickling her and sending a slight tingle through her skin.

Her body didn’t reject Zachery’s closeness; on the contrary, she even felt a bit of anticipation. She didn’t shy away, tacitly allowing him to come nearer.

Their lips were almost touching.
