Priscilla knew her words had already intimidated Dillon–he wouldn’t dare offend Bonnie.
She breathed a little easier; in truth, she was only bluffing.
She didn’t dare gamble with Bonnie’s health.
But Dillon was too greedy, always wanting more.
However, Tania and Larissa were not so easy to deal with. When it came to the matching test, she still had to rely on Dillon.
She softened her tone a little: “I know the blind date was Juniper’s idea, and I won’t make things difficult for you. Bring Tania and Larissa for the matching test, and I’ll go on the blind date as you arranged.”
A compromise–everyone would be satisfied.
Dillon hesitated for a moment, then agreed. This was indeed the best solution, and he would be fulfilling his promise to Juniper.
Priscilla set the time: “Tomorrow morning at nine, you all come for the matching test. After that, I’ll go on the blind date.”
She hung up, a bitter taste in her mouth.
What kind of cold–blooded family would bargain over a
matter of life and death like this?

Dillon told Tania and Larissa about the matching test: “We’re going to the hospital tomorrow.”
Tania refused, “I’m not going.”
Larissa was puzzled. “Dad, didn’t you promise Juniper that you would make Priscilla get married?”
Dillon was the head of the family–timid outside, but authoritative at home, always concerned about saving face.
“Priscilla has already knelt and repented. After all, she’s our daughter, and that child carries the blood of the Wilburn family. Besides, she’s agreed to the blind date. That’s the end of it. We’re all going tomorrow.”
Tania glared fiercely at her useless husband. “Priscilla is not
on our side at all. Don’t trust her.”
Hadn’t he been fooled by her enough already?
Larissa added, “That’s right, Dad, don’t trust her. She doesn’t mean well.”
But Dillon wouldn’t listen to the women. “That’s settled.”
He went to the study.
Tania muttered a few curses about her useless husband, then took Larissa’s hand. “What should we do?”
Larissa sighed. “I need to ask Juniper what she thinks.”
She took her phone and went out to the balcony.
A few minutes later, she returned to the living room.

“Juniper said she’ll make arrangements.”
Tania was relieved.

Since her second daughter wasn’t on her side and only cared about that old woman, she might as well consider her as good as lost.
Having Larissa was enough for her.
At nine o’clock the next day, Dillon arrived at the hospital with his wife and daughter.
Priscilla was waiting for them at the entrance herself.
Tania gave her a dirty look and muttered, “Shameful.”
Priscilla pretended not to hear.
Larissa bit her lip and glanced behind Priscilla. “Priscilla, why don’t I see Mr. Wilkinson?”
She asked on purpose, so Dillon would know that Priscilla’s relationship with Luciano wasn’t that good.
Sure enough, Dillon was disappointed.
Priscilla couldn’t care less about them and led them upstairs.
After the tests, Dillon handed Priscilla an address. “This is the restaurant we’ve arranged with the other party. Make sure you go.”
Priscilla agreed.
The results of the matching test wouldn’t be out until tomorrow, so for now she had to behave.

Chapter 133
Two o’clock in the afternoon.
Priscilla arrived at the place Dillon had given her. It was a rather nice restaurant.
She found the person she was supposed to meet.
He was a man in a suit, looking quite decent, with a gentle and refined appearance.
When he saw Priscilla, he stood up politely. “Ms. Wilburn.”
Priscilla touched her bag and sat down across from him. “Hello.”
The man asked about Priscilla’s preferences, polite and considerate.
By all appearances, he seemed like a good person.
But Priscilla remained wary inside. She didn’t believe that anyone Juniper and Larissa had arranged for her to meet could be a good person.
Priscilla spoke politely, “I don’t have much of an appetite, so I’ll be leaving now.”
Dillon wanted her to go on a blind date, and as long as she met the person, her task was done.
The smile vanished from the man’s face.
He leaned back against the chair, revealing his true colors, sneering with contempt. “You had one in your belly, lost one, and you still think you’re a virgin.”
“If Juniper hadn’t pleaded for you, I wouldn’t have bothered

to see you. The fact that I fancy you now is your good fortune.”
“And your child, that illegitimate one–dead is dead.”
He spoke of a human life as if it were nothing.
Priscilla looked at him expressionlessly. “What did you say?”
The man repeated indifferently, “I said your illegitimate child…”
“He is not an illegitimate child,” Priscilla interrupted him coldly.
The man scoffed, “If he wasn’t born out of wedlock, what is he? I heard he’s seriously ill, probably won’t live much longer.”
