Most importantly, she got along well with Wesley and was obedient–so much better than Priscilla who threatened him at every turn.
“No one will go back with you. We can’t rest easy, so just stay here”
Dillon spoke with some impatience, “Stop thinking about the old home already.”
“You… such an unfilial son.” Bonnie trembled with anger
Priscilla’s expression was icy and her tone was scornful and mocking “Is being an R&D director such a big deal? If it weren’t for Wesley. would Larissa have gotten that position?”
“It’s a position she got through connections, and you’re actually proud of it.”
The Wilburn family wasn’t truly wealthy or powerful–where did Dillon’s sense of superiority come?
“You, you, you…”
This time, it was Dillon’s turn to be infuriated.
Priscilla was in a hurry and didn’t want to argue with him any longer. “Grandma, I’ll go back with her. As for the house, you’d better return it back before we get home. Otherwise. Larissa’s runaway wedding and your ‘good deeds‘ will be on all the major platforms‘ headlines tomorrow morning.”
Dillon stormed off in a rage.
He was filled with regret he shouldn’t have let Larissa run away from her wedding. Or maybe, he shouldn’t have let Priscilla marry Wesley
That unfilial daughter she really had grown wings.
Dillon felt uncomfortable, especially when he thought of Priscilla threatening him with that contemptuous look–he felt like coughing up blood.
Tama didn’t care. It was just as well that Priscilla was leaving, at least the house would be more peaceful, and Larissa wouldn’t be crying every other day.
Dillon thought so too–maybe it was best if Priscilla, that unfilial daughter, lett.
His mood instantly improved.
He even took the initiative to send a driver to take his elderly mother home.

After finishing his meeting, Wesley suddenly felt an urge to go to the hospital though he didn’t know why.
He asked Everett, “Is everything settled with the studio?”
Everett handed the documents to Wesley. “Yes.”
Wesley flipped through them briefly and felt much more at ease. There had been too many conflicts between him and Priscilla lately and this studio was a gift for her.
He hoped this gift could case the tension in their marriage.
“Are the restaurant and flowers booked?” Wesley checked every detail.

Everett felt a bit guilty. “Um. Fll take care of it right away
Wesley looked up, with his cold gaze.
Everett’s scalp tingled. “Mr. Carlton. I’m sorry. I forgot”
He muttered to himself, wondering when Mr. Carlton had started to care so much about Priscilla.
After all, Mr. Carlton had never cared about such trivial matters
before.
He was about to explain further when Wesley called over another assistant. “Elijah Wilson, you’ll be working with me from now on.”
Elijah quickly agreed–this was a huge opportunity.
Everett’s face turned pale–he had just been demoted.
Wesley walked out and instructed Elijah to book the best restaurant and the most beautiful roses. Today was his wedding anniversary with Priscilla and he wanted to celebrate it properly.
Elijah went to handle it immediately.
“Wes.” Larissa stepped out of the elevator and, seeing Wesley already in his coat, hurriedly asked, “Are you going out?”
Wesley nodded. “Yes, I’m going to the hospital to see Grandma.”
Priscilla bit her lip and said softly, “Could you wait a moment? I need to talk to you about something.”
Wesley frowned.
Larissa quickly added, “It’s about work. It’ll only need half an hour.” Wesley agreed and returned to his office.

Half an hour later, their conversation ended.
A gentle smile appeared on Larissa’s face. “Wes. let me go with you to see Grandma.”
Wesley replied with a simple “Mm.” and the two of them went to the hospital together.
But the hospital room was empty.
Wesley frowned. Had Grandma been discharged?
Larissa asked in confusion. “Grandma was discharged? Why didn’t Priscilla tell you?”
Her gaze paused as she looked at the table. “What’s that?”
Wesley strode in and saw clearly what was on the table–two copies of a divorce agreement.
Larissa exclaimed, “Divorce papers? Priscilla, she…”
She couldn’t finish her sentence, because Wesley’s face had darkened to the extreme.
It frightened her.
Wesley took out his phone to call Priscilla but no one ever answered.
He called Chaston Villa but heard that Priscilla hadn’t gone home.
“Maybe she’s at my home.
Larissa called Tania and learned that Priscilla had accompanied Bonnie back to their hometown.
She hesitantly relayed the news to Wesley and added. “Maybe Priscilla just took Grandma back home.”

Wesley’s eyes were already red.
He knew–she had really left.
The divorce agreement stated she would leave with nothing.
She didn’t want the Holiday Series perfume anymore.
She didn’t want him, either.
Wesley strode to the nurses‘ station to ask when Priscilla had left and was told it was half an hour ago.
