Earlier, Amelia had called and asked them to come back, but Wesley hadn’t agreed. This time, however, Frank himself had called and told them to return home.
Priscilla replied hoarsely in agreement and went upstairs to change.
Wesley watched her thin figure as she walked away, his gaze complicated. He opened his mouth to speak, but in the end, chose to remain silent.
The Carlton’s mansion.
Frank sat upright on the sofa, his expression stern.
He asked Priscilla, “Explain.”
He had personally brought her back, only for such a huge mess to explode.
Frank was fuming inside.
Priscilla stood there in a daze, unable to explain.
She said nothing. Amelia could no longer hold back. She pointed at Priscilla and cursed, “You ungrateful wretch! Our family has treated you well, yet you went and sold the formula behind our backs. Serves you right to be born a pauper!”
“Mom, that’s enough,” Wesley frowned. “We haven’t gotten to the bottom of this yet.”

Amelia retorted angrily, “But she took five million from them!”
Frank glared at his daughter–in–law in displeasure. “Noisy.”
Amelia’s face turned red and her neck bulged with anger.
Frank’s single word silenced Amelia. He turned to Priscilla and asked, “Speak.”
Priscilla instinctively dug her nails into her palm, her voice slightly hoarse: “The Holiday Series is a brand I launched. I wouldn’t be stupid enough to destroy my own hard work.”
“Besides, you’ve already promised to let me take the entire Holiday Series brand with me. I have no reason to sell the formula.”
Such a simple truth–everyone understood it.
Frank nodded, agreeing with Priscilla’s words, but what he wanted was a solution.
“Tell me, how do you plan to handle this?”
This time, the launch of Holiday Series had first been delayed, and now the formula had leaked. A proper solution was needed.
Priscilla said, “I will relaunch…”
“Get divorced immediately.”
Amelia interrupted Priscilla, not wanting to miss this perfect chance to drive her out.
Priscilla quieted down, clenching her palm.

Chap 79
What she actually wanted to say was that she would relaunch a new Holiday Series Perfume to make up for the loss this
time.
But seeing Amelia’s face, eager to throw her out immediately, she suddenly felt that maybe getting divorced would be for the best.
With Wesley shielding Larissa, even if she proved her innocence, what difference would it make?
If it happened this time, it would happen again.
She couldn’t take Holiday Series with her, and couldn’t fulfill her promise to that person. But if she launched a perfume even more popular than Holiday Series-
That would count as keeping her promise, wouldn’t it?
She quickly made up her mind: divorce first.
She followed Amelia’s lead and said, “Even though I didn’t leak the formula, as the main person in charge, I am willing to take full responsibility for what happened.”
Taking a deep breath, she finally spoke the words she most longed to say.
“I am willing to…”
Suddenly, her lowered hand was gripped tightly.
Wesley looked deeply at his wife and finished her sentence: “Priscilla is already pregnant. She won’t be involved in the research anymore.”
Priscilla was stunned by his unilateral decision. It took her

several seconds to react, and she tried to yank her hand back in anger, but Wesley held on tightly.
“You…”
Wesley looked down at her, his thin lips parting, his eyes full of warning.
Priscilla read his lips… Bonnie.
All the pent–up emotions surged up at once, but she could only force herself to hold them back.
Her anger was like a stone thrown into a lake, creating only a single ripple before she dared not stir up any more waves.
“Pregnant?” Amelia was stunned, staring at Priscilla’s belly, her eyes full of regret.
No matter how dissatisfied she was with Priscilla, she still cared about the child.
Frank’s stern expression softened. Leaning on his cane, he stood up and said, “Since you’re pregnant, just rest well at home.”
He went upstairs, signaling that, as far as the Carlton family was concerned, the matter was settled.
Amelia, putting on her mother–in–law airs, lectured Priscilla: “Since you’re pregnant, focus on taking care of yourself at home. If I find out you’re up to any nonsense outside again, I won’t let you off.”
Priscilla felt a stifling pain in her chest. She found it all laughable.

Chapter 75
Wesley said she was pregnant, but she had already been diagnosed by Sarah as infertile.
“…”
She wanted to blurt out the truth regardless of everything, but as soon as she opened her mouth, her fingers were squeezed tightly by Wesley.
It was a silent warning.
Thinking of Bonnie, she could only force herself to swallow
her words.
On the way back, no one said a word.
