Sierra called the police department immediately, quickly explaining the situation. After hanging up, she called Walter.
"Hello, Mr. Watson. Are you available to come to Walker Group? My husband, who's trying to hold onto my family's inheritance by refusing to divorce me, is outside the building spreading lies about me and Mr. Walker," Sierra said. "He's made all sorts of unfounded accusations. I need your help."
Walter replied immediately, "Hold on. I'll be there shortly."
With confirmation that both Walter and the police were en route, Sierra finally put her phone away.
She turned to face the growing crowd of onlookers and said, "You all need to think before you believe whatever this man says. Just because someone is foolish enough to believe his lies doesn't mean you all have to follow. If you're repeating his words without thinking, then you're no different from him."
Someone in the crowd spoke up. "Hey, what's with that attitude? How are we foolish? If you weren't having an affair, would your husband be here in a wheelchair, begging you with a broken leg?"
Samuel quickly interjected, "Please don't blame my wife. It's not her fault. This is all on me. I'm not as capable or successful as Mr. Walker. I can't give my wife the life she wants, but I'm trying. I swear I'm trying. I'll work harder, and one day, I'll be able to give her everything she deserves."
Then, looking at Sierra with a sorrowful expression, he added, "Darling, if what I did today upset you, I'm sorry. I know I made a mistake, and I promise I'll change. All I ask is that you don't leave me. Even if you're with Mr. Walker, I'll accept it. Just don't divorce me."
Sierra's expression finally cracked, no longer hiding the disgust in her eyes. "Is this how you want to play it? Fine. I'll play along."
She smirked and turned to the crowd. "Everyone, you can go now. My husband suffers from paranoia. His only pastime is imagining his wife being unfaithful. We live in a world where things can turn around quickly.
"While you're all here gossiping, remember to keep your wits about you and don't make assumptions. The truth is often different from the story you hear."
After that, she turned to Samuel. "Let's talk in the car."
As she glanced around, she spotted Tom and Evan hiding not far away. This time, she didn't call them over. She simply stayed where she was, waiting calmly for the authorities to arrive.
The crowd remained but stayed silent after Sierra's speech. After all, she had a point. In today's world, people jumped to conclusions and criticized blindly, only to end up apologizing when the truth came out. Without knowing the full story, it was better to stay quiet.
More importantly, Sierra's willingness to call the police and her lawyer made it clear she had a solid case.
Meanwhile, Samuel had done nothing except sit in a wheelchair, cry into a loudspeaker, and play the victim.
Clearly, there was more to this story.
Fortunately, they didn't have to wait long. Both the police and Walter arrived shortly after and took everyone in for further questioning. Only then did the crowd finally begin to disperse.

However, she would not give him what he wanted.
"In that case, we won't get a divorce. Samuel, let's stay married. Let's live a happy life together," Sierra said with a smile.
"Are you still planning to go with Sky?" Samuel asked, staring at her with suspicion.
"No, I'm not," Sierra replied calmly. "Let's go home."
Samuel hesitated. "Sierra, are you sure you really don't want a divorce?"
Her sudden change in attitude made him uneasy. He studied her carefully, trying to read between the lines.
"Are you certain that you won't divorce me and are willing to continue living with me?" Samuel pressed further.
"Of course." Sierra nodded. "I'll explain to the police that it was my fault they had to come out today. I'll also clear things up with Mr. Watson. I'm not getting a divorce, and there's no need for divorce proceedings. Does that satisfy you?"
Sierra looked at Samuel calmly. "If you're still not satisfied, tell me. I'll do my best to meet your expectations."
