Rains’ P.O.V.
After my mother explained how I used my magic unknowingly, for the first time, She also lets me know that we will be starting my training on the next full moon, which is tomorrow. The doctor checks me out again, and after giving me the all-clear, we decide to head back to the castle. On our walk back, Zion tells me that my mom will be moving into my old room across the hall from our suite. He also tells me that they will be moving my mothers’ coven into the Kingdom till they can rebuild and heal from the attacks. Losing Lady Lana has had a new impact on the coven.
“Orian and Sam will fill us in on everything they’ve learned from the warriors in the morning. And Lady Ezmerelda will also be getting pictures and a status report from the coven in the morning.” Zion says as we make it to the castle.
“Thank you,” I say, looking up at him. “I know you don’t have to keep me in the loop since I’m not the Queen yet. But I appreciate it.”
“We’re a team now. You will not only be kept in the loop but will also be helping me to make decisions from now on, and speaking of being Queen.” He says with a smile as we make it to the elevator. “How would you feel about having our mating ceremony and your crowning ceremony in two days?”
“Holy Hell,” I say in a low whisper.
“If it’s too soon, just let me know. It’s just that the council won’t fully acknowledge you as the Queen until the ceremonies have been completed.” He says, and I stop walking.
He starts to say something else, but I hold my hand up to stop him from talking, then ask. “Do you think everything can be ready in that short amount of time?”
“Anything can be done for you, my love.” He answers, making me smile.
“Then let’s do it,” I say. “I need to talk to Jess. I have no idea how to plan anything.”
“If you would like, after we meet with the guys and your mother in the morning, the three of you ladies can use my office. And I’ll send the event planners to help.” He says. I swear he’s so thoughtful.
“Sounds like a plan!” I say, feeling extremely giddy. “I guess we’ll have to postpone our run?”
“Oh Goddess, he’s amazingly sexy!” Dosha howels in my head, then she starts pushing images forward, and I try to push them back and beg her to stop as my face heats up from blushing, making her laugh.
“You ready for our shower?” He asks, and I nod quickly. I then make my way into the bathroom.
When I walk into the bathroom, I see a huge walk-in shower that looks like the side of a waterfall with a natural rock wall and a rainfall shower head right in the center of the ceiling. It’s stunning. I get undressed and walk into the shower. Then I feel Zion walk in behind me and wrap his arms around my waist.
“The water is perfect,” I say. Zion starts messaging my shoulders, and it feels so good a moan slips through my lips.
“You, me Queen, are perfect.” He says as he kisses my cheek, slowly moving to my ear as he lets out a low growl, and then moves down my neck slowly to my marking spot where his mark will be. He stops to grab my body wash and loofa and begins to wash my back. I suddenly become self-conscious about my scars. Almost as if he knows what I’m thinking, he leans down to whisper in my ear, “You really are perfect. Every part of you.” Making me smile. I turn around, grabbing the loofa from him. I begin to wash his chest as we take turns washing each other until we’re both clean.
