Valerie didn’t believe that Kristian was just there to apologize. She was cautious and said, “Mr. Hardin, we are old acquaintances. If you have something to say, just say it.”

“You are the smarter one, so I’ll be honest with you. I want to make a deal with you. As long as you satisfy me, I will give that project back to you.”
