The moment those twins were mentioned, Tessa grew even more animated.

And hearing they’d been robbed–oh, that was satisfying.

But just picturing their faces…

“Stella, I’ve always suspected those twins weren’t even Dale’s,” she muttered.

“Doesn’t matter whose they are,” Stella said. “Right now, don’t say anything else–just grab what

you can.”

“Have Marie do it.”

Tessa wouldn’t dare call Marie herself; she was afraid Marie would tear her apart.

“Got it,” Stella said.

Truthfully, she wasn’t eager to poke Marie either.

Marie was furious; best not to provoke her at all.
