Shocked, Eizlina watched him holding his mother's wrist to stop her from slapping her.
Did he really stand up for her against his mother's irrationality?
Gazing at his mother with a displeased look on his face, Theron slowly let go off his mother's wrist, who was now looking at him with a completely perplexed look on her face, because in his 30 years of life, till now her son had never dared to even stand in between her and her decisions, let alone even thinking about stopping her from fulfilling them.
But today, he not only stood in between her and her choice, but also dared to stop her…and it was just because of that girl…. Eizlina Witner.
His mother's reaction made him exhale a soft sigh.
“Go back to your room,” he uttered, and everyone understood his words were headed to Eizlina but she didn't move from her place, so he tilted his head to look at her.
“Right now, Eizlina,” he used his warning tone to make her aware about the seriousness of the situation. Eizlina didn't argue further. She looked at his mother, and if it would not have been for him then she was sure his mother would have killed her by now just the way she was glowering at her.
This mother-son duo had some extremely immoral and wicked kind of hatred for her…and the feelings were somehow mutual too.
She also loathed both of them, except her hatred for the son was impossibly irreversible.
Without saying anything, Eizlina took a glance at him, whose eyes were still on her and were waiting for her to leave, so she walked past him and his mother, and then walked out of the hall.
Seeing her leaving, Theron finally looked at his mother, who was peering at him with anger, disappointment and even pain too. And he could clearly understand it.
He had never gone against his mother and her steps ever in his life.
“I….”
“So you chose to stand by that girl even if it means going against your own mother, Theron?” He heard her mother saying to him, utterly distraught.
“It's not like that. We both know I have never gone against you, mom and I never will,” he said to her, calmly. But his words didn't change anything for his mother.
“Really, Theron? Then what was it which you just made me witness?” She questioned him. Her eyes slightly glistened up, which made him exhale a heavy breath again.
“I would just request you again to not hurt her. That's all I can say to you right now,” saying that he attempted to walk away from there but his mother's question paused his steps from going further.
“Have you really started accepting her as your wife?” Winona questioned him, staring at his back.
Her question made him curl his fists violently. He didn't turn around, but his mouth gave her his answer.
“Even if I have, it's still not going to change anything,” he said. His words clenched Eizlina's heart, who was eavesdropping on their conversation.
He had really started accepting her as his wife? But what did he mean that it was still not going to change anything?
Would he never stop hating her for something she was still not even aware of?
“So once again ... .I am asking you neither to harm nor to hurt her. Leave everything on me and ” he uttered and then halted.
“Trust your son this time,” those words of his made Winona clench her jaw, and after saying that, he started striding away, which caused a tear to fall from Winona's eyes.
Seeing Theron coming out of the hall, Eizlina immediately tried to run away from there but she forgot her feet and knees were still in pain. So a loud hiss escaped from her mouth, and she was also about to fall if not for him, who caught her arm on time.
Eizlina turned her head around and her eyes widened, seeing his grey eyes glaring at her. He aggressively pulled her in his arms and wrapped his one arm around her waist tightly.
“You really need a lesson of obedience, Eizlina Witner,” he clutched her jaw, understanding she was listening to his and his mother's conversation even after he warned her to get back to her room.
He threw all those bottles on the floor, crushing them violently, which made her flinch, but what horrified her most was when she saw him breaking one of those glass bottles in his fist.
Blood started dripping from his hand as the broken glasses slashed against his skin, but nothing changed on his face. His eyes continued to gaze at her with nothing but with pure malice and that menacing darkness, which quivered her soul in terror.
Her eyes glistened up again. Was he even human or not? How could someone be this immoral and emotionless?
Didn't he feel pain, neither of others nor his own?
Throwing those broken glasses, his rapacious steps made their way towards her. But Eizlina immediately recoiled. She backed away, but that shower room didn't give her enough space to keep herself away from him for longer.
Her back pressed against the glass wall, but his feet didn't pause. Her gaze watered more, seeing him hovering over her. She tried to escape but he placed his palms on both sides of hers to cage her completely.
“Go away. I said….” She placed her palms against his chest to push him away but ended up getting her neck grasped by him roughly. Her body stiffened.
His diabolic gaze glowered into her gleaming brown eyes.
“Remove your clothes,” his gravelly dark voice and his words numbed her soul in horror.
“N…”
“Right f*cking now, Eizlin,” he growled, shutting her up in the middle.
A tear of terror shedded from her eyes.
What worse would he make her do right now?
