They Want Me Back When It's Too Late (Jessica and Brian) novel Chapter 445

Chapter 445

Chapter 445

Ah!The chubby guy’s piercing scream cut through even the thundering rock music.

Sana stared at Wesley, who was now gripping the wandering hand that had just groped her, and her heart skipped a beat. Wwhat are you doing here?she stammered.

Shit, has Wesley been following me this whole time?she thought. Did he figure out what I was planning?

The more Sana thought about it, the more panicked she became. Without thinking, she grabbed the open beer bottle beside her and took a swig to calm her nerves.

Wesley dragged the stillprotesting chubby guy to the door and tossed him out. When he turned back, he saw Sana drinking straight from the bottle. He looked closer and couldn’t believe it. In just that short time, she’d already downed nearly half the bottle.

Stop drinking,Wesley said, striding back over and snatching the bottle from her hands.

Mind your own business! Give it back!Sana snapped, reaching for the bottle while cursing him out. Are you insane? You’re stalking me every single day!

This is so annoying! Why can’t you just leave me alone? You’re not supposed to be like this. You’re not supposed to be following me around all the time.

When exactly did you start following me?Sana had gotten herself pretty drunk, which gave her the courage to grab Wesley by the collar and demand answers. Tell me the truth, How long have you been stalking me?

Wesley struggled to free his shirt from the drunk Sana’s grip while trying to explain himself, I wasn’t following you. I just happened to be here picking something up from a friend.

Wesley really hadn’t expected such a coincidence. He’d only come to the bar to grab something from a friend who’d just returned from overseas, and somehow, he’d run into Şana drinking here. But maybe this was fate in its own weird way.

Sana clearly didn’t see it as fate. She was convinced Wesley was lying to her. Bullshit! There’s no way it’s that much of a coincidence. You’re totally stalking me. You’re terrible, absolutely terrible. She hiccupped loudly.

Wesley realized he couldn’t reason with her in this state, so he decided to play along. Fine, let’s say I was following you. Are you really that mad? It’s not like it’s the first time.

Wesley guided the drunk and ranting Sana back into the booth seat, then sat down beside her. You want to keep drinking?

Of course I’m drinking! Why wouldn’t I drink? Who do you think you are?Sana slurred. I came here to have fun tonight, and I’m not just going to drink. I’m going to find myself a male model!

The drunk Sana was getting bold and reckless. She picked up the drink Wesley had just poured for her and swayed toward the dance floor, ready to hit on some decentlooking guy.

She completely ignored Wesley behind her, whose face had turned dark as thunder after hearing her talk about finding male models.

Chapter 445

Hey cutie, how old are you? Want to exchange numbers?Sana slurred, raising her glass to clink with the handsome stranger.

The guy was about to respond to this gorgeous woman who’d just walked up to him when an arm suddenly shot out between them, forcing them apart.

Sorry, my girlfriend and I had a fight. Sorry for the trouble,Wesley said in a low voice. He wrapped his arm around Sana’s waist and, ignoring her protests and struggles, hoisted her over his shoulder and carried her straight out of the bar.

Sana kept yelling for him to put her down the entire way, but once they got to the car, she finally went quiet. She slumped back against the seat, her glistening eyes unable to stop drifting toward Wesley sitting beside her.

Is he mad?Sana thought hazily. Wait, why should he be mad? He’s not my anything. What right does he have to control

me?
