Chapter 11: Chapter 11 No One Has Ever Been So Kind to Them

She handed the bag of clothes to the twins while she herself took down the other items.

Going to town was just too much trouble.

So she bought some, and then on the way, she took out the rest from "space" to get through.

She hung everything on both sides of the bicycle's rear seat and the handlebars.

There really was quite a bit.

Qin Yu and Qin Mei didn't open the package.

"We have clothes to wear, sister-in-law, please take them back!" He was a guy; what need was there for new clothes.

Qin Mei also nodded along with her second brother, her voice as low as a mosquito's buzz, "I have clothes to wear too..."

Rong Yan saw the looks on their faces, how could she not know what they were thinking.

She raised an eyebrow, "You're not going to wear them? Alright then, I'll give these clothes to other kids in the village. Anyway, I won't return them."

When Qin Yu heard they would be given away, that wouldn't do at all.

So he quickly snatched the handed-out package back.

"Not giving away."

Why give them to others? After all, she was his sister-in-law.

Rong Yan's eyes twinkled with a smile, "Then go and try them on. If they're too small, we can exchange them, but we can't return them."

She made a rough estimate.

With her judgment, there shouldn't be a mistake.

Still, Qin Yu was reluctant to part with the money, he looked up at Rong Yan, hesitated and asked, "Can't we really return them?"

"Of course not, when I bought them, the seller already said no. Stop dwelling on this, they're just a few clothes. Hurry up and try them, oh right, there are shoes too."

It was beyond her how Qin Ye as the big brother managed this. How worn Qin Yu's shoes were that winter, even with a hole at the front.

Not to mention the socks.

Just looking at them made her feel cold for him.

The siblings had no choice but to take the package and leave.

Rong Yan didn't just wait for them and waste time; she moved all the grain and vegetables she bought into the kitchen.

While they were away, she quickly took out some rice and fine flour from "space."

Looking at the full kitchen, she was quite satisfied.

As she turned around intending to go out, she saw Qin Yu, with a flushed face... awkwardly standing at the kitchen doorway.

His hands seemed unsure of where to be.

Rong Yan saw him dressed in new clothes, and her eyes lit up—it really made a difference. The lad cleaned up pretty well, instantly looking several times more handsome.

"Not bad, fits quite well. It seems my eye for size is pretty good," she said, confident in her visual estimation.

Qin Yu's ears turned red from the compliment.

"Can we get a bigger size?"

Rong Yan raised an eyebrow, "Why do you want a bigger size? Doesn't what you're wearing fit just right?"

"Bigger, so I can wear it for several more years, right now, it can only last one year." He's bound to grow taller, right?

Shouldn't there be a little extra room?

Rong Yan thought it was some serious matter—but it was just this.

"If it fits for this year, that's fine. Next year, I'll buy you new ones. It's too cold, and I don't feel like exchanging them. Plus, I think you look great in this. If they're too big, you won't be able to show off your good looks."

Qin Yu's face turned redder.

Seeing his embarrassed state, Rong Yan couldn't help but let out a light laugh, then she asked, "Did you try on the shoes?"

"I tried them on, they fit..." It was just that he wanted a size larger, his feet would grow next year too.

"If they fit, that's good. Then just wear them. I bought two sets, one for the new year, and this set you can wear now. I'm going to see your sister."

She said and proceeded to head out.

Qin Yu quickly made way.

He stood watching her back, his eyes growing warm involuntarily.
