Rong Yan’s uncle lived on the second floor, in a three-bedroom, one-living-room apartment.
Originally, the space was indeed sufficient for a family of three, but after the addition of the twin sisters, it certainly became a bit cramped.
Adding to that, the sisters were in school... no wonder their aunt never had a pleasant expression on her face.
When Rong Yan arrived, the front door was just opening, and out came her younger sister Rong Qiao. Seeing Rong Yan, she still showed a hint of nervousness, "...Sis, where have you been? As she said this last sentence, her tone was filled with grievance.
It was obvious that without Rong Yan there to bear it all... the anger would be redirected at the one in front of her.
Rong Yan looked at her intensely.
Feeling the intensity of that gaze, Rong Qiao’s heart tingled, "Sis, sis... why are you looking at me like that?"
"I was locked in the restroom and beaten for a full half hour, you didn’t know about that?"
Rong Qiao was utterly shocked, "What? Sis, you were locked in the school restroom and got beaten? Who did it? That’s way too much!" 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

That was the question she outright asked.
Rong Qiao’s face stiffened.
Immediately showing concern, she asked, "Sis, how are you feeling?"
Rong Yan shot back directly, "I was beaten for half an hour by five people, what do you think, is that serious?"
Rong Qiao’s complexion changed slightly, suddenly finding her sister at this moment very unfamiliar.
Stammering, she began, "I’m sorry, I didn’t know about this..."
