As she smiled, greeted people, and faced the direction of the exhibition hall’s entrance, her gaze met with Vesta and her group, who had just walked in.
Vesta stopped. She hadn’t expected to see Charlene there. After all, this kind of tech expo was a dream networking event for the elite, and every spot was highly precious.
As a major shareholder of PrimeStar, Stewart’s taking Charlene, an undergraduate student, under his wing at PrimeStar might not have raised eyebrows among the staff. But allocating such a valuable expo spot to Charlene, a new undergraduate recruit, surely fed feathers among the other PrimeStar elites.
Stewart was Kenton’s student, and Vesta had heard that his expertise in the field was still unmatched even though he divided his
tention between business and his passion for Al. The direction of product development at their company had always been his call. However, Vesta had been skeptical of Stewart’s judgment when he chose not to hire her, feeling he didn’t live up to Raleighis praise. And then, he had given Charlene such a crucial expo spot. It seemed like a complete mess to her With that thought, Vesta frowned
Henley and Laverne also spotted Charlene and shared the same surprised look. They weren’t expecting to see her there.
Charlene merely glanced at them before turning her attention away.
Seeing Charlene chatting amicably with a tall man, Henley frowned and asked Vesta, “Do you know that man?”
“That’s Stewart.”
“That’s Stewart?” Henley was genuinely surprised.
He knew about Charlene’s move from the Henderson Group to PrimeStar but didn’t realize Stewart held her in such high regard.
Before Vesta could reply, someone approached them. “Ms. Hawkins, Mr. Hawkins, glad that you made it‘
“Mr. Gallagher.” Vesta and Henley greeted the newcomer.
They initially had only two tickets, but after the charity gala “incident” the night before, which made their connection with Thome a topp of hot gossip, Mr. Gallagher, seeking to curry favor with Thorne, had a ticket delivered to them overnight upon learning they were one short for the Future Tech Expo.
Following last night’s drama, the link between Thorne and Vesta was well known. After exchanging a few pleasantries with Mr. Gallagher, more people came to greet them. Soon, their group became the center of attention, drawing curious glances from the crowd- On Charlene’s side, noticing the buzz around the Hawkins family, Mr. Roland remarked, “Over there, the Hawkins family, you’ve heard right? Ms. Hawkins and Thorne have a deep connection. Look at them. Everyone’s rushing to schmooze.”
Mr. Roland’s tone carried a hint of disdain. Stewart was also aware of last night’s charity gala drama involving Vesta.

Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...
Stewart and Charlene will the best match, both power players!...
Can't wait to read where Charlene will start another relationship... God for is she gets back with Thorne... She needs to be with York or Gaylord (to annoy vesta) or granger (to annoy Thorne)...
I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
Hey...please dont ever make Charlene and thorne get back together no matter what...he simply doesn't deserve it....no matter the reason or plot twist behind the way he treated his legally wedded wife....whether he actually slept with vesta or not....just his emotional cheating...not repecting his spouse....not caring enough to actually get to know the person his wife was....and actually distancing his child from her mother and encouraging her to bond with the mistress are all the biggest RED FLAGS... when a person enters a contract....he must uphold it no questions asked...its not like if ur partner isnt good enough, ur allowed to cheat..allowed to let a 3rd person in-between....if ur not satisfied with ur partner then u can get a divorce...whats the point of all the wealth, power and brilliance of mind when the ML cant even get his head around this simple fact...So, its fine it he regrets, but charlene shouldn't be with him in any case.....
Enough already. This novel is dragging slowly. Updated with 2 chapters only. REALLY!!! Whoever the author or authors of this novel why is there a delay in penning more chapters? Here’s my question.
