Yvonne playfully swatted Theodore’s arm. “So what if I spoil her? Honestly, even if it were two Troys, Teresa would totally deserve
them.”
Theodore was momentarily speechless, his frustration evident. “You…”
Yvonne met his gaze, unflinching. “What about me?”
Theodore’s eyes locked onto hers, his voice serious. “Did you ever think the same way?”
Yvonne, obviously teasing, stretched out her words. “Yeah, I did. So what are you going to do about it?”
Without another word. Theodore strode over, scooped Yvonne up, and, with a hint of playful punishment, gave her a double smack on
the butt.
Theodore asked, gruffly, “Still thinking about it?”
Yvonne winced but refused to yield. She looped her arms around his neck, her eyes sparkling as she said, “Of course I am. Always.”
Theodore, clearly frustrated, pinned her down onto the couch.
He leaned in close, his face dark and serious as he demanded, “So, still thinking about it?”
Yvonne didn’t respond with words. She reached up, hooked her arms around his neck, and gently pulled Theodore down until their faces nearly touched.

Then, they were lost in a passionate kiss.

Meanwhile, in the bedroom.
After all the commotion caused by Yvonne, Teresa was startled awake from her sleep.
In that instant, she sat up straight out of Troy’s arms.
Sitting at the edge of the bed, it suddenly dawned on her–Troy had actually stayed over for the entire night.
Seeing Teresa’s worried face, Troy couldn’t resist teasing her. “What’s wrong? Regretting that you let me stay over?”
Teresa, annoyed by how casual he was being, gave him a light smack. “This is all fault. My brother’s totally going to give me an

Troy lifted his tingling arm and wiggled it a bit, then grinned at her. “If you’re that scared, I can go talk to him for you.”
Teresa hurriedly stopped him. “No way, Troy. Please don’t go.”
Troy saw the worry lines on Teresa’s forehead and couldn’t resist another tease. “Who was the one hugging my arm like a pillow and clinging to me all night, huh? What, going to play innocent now?”
Teresa snorted at him. “Don’t twist the facts! This is all your fault. If you’d just snuck out the window earlier, we wouldn’t be in this mess.”
Troy sat up and lounged back against the headboard, looking completely laid–back and at ease, like he didn’t have a care in the world.
Seeing how nothing seemed to faze him, Teresa tried to scare him. “Acting all cool now, huh? Just wait till my brother gets here—he’s totally going to come after you.”
Troy just shrugged, totally unfazed. “Let him Even the most awkward bride has to meet the in–laws sooner or later

Troy just smirked and gave her a look. “Tm the shameless one here? Really?”

Teresa stopped and gave him a look. “Seriously, sneak out the window now. If my brother catches you, there’s nothing I can do to help.”
Sure, Theodore said Troy could use the front door, but Teresa knew her brother’s temper way too well.
No matter what happened last night, Teresa knew her brother wouldn’t give Troy a warm welcome.
The only reason Theodore hadn’t barged in yet was probably because Yvonne was holding him back.
With that in mind, Teresa was desperate to get Troy out of there as soon as possible.
Anyway, she was his little sister. Theodore would at most scold her a couple of times, nothing serious.
Teresa had no idea if Troy had really taken her words to heart, but to her surprise, he slid right out of bed.
After he got dressed, he glanced back at Teresa, eyebrows raised, staying silent.
When he saw them, Troy’s heart skipped a beat.

While the pro of them were busy heating up some milk in the kitchen, Theodore and Yvonne came down from upstairs.
