Winning the Heir Who Bullied Me
Chapter 151
:
Nathan brushes past me like a tornado, swirling with homicidal rage and wrath.
It takes one terrifying heartbeat to realize the grave mistake I’ve made, and I spin on my heels, rushing after him.
“Nathan–wait-”
But he doesn’t wait. He thunders out of his room, the force of his fury rattling the hinges of the door he slams open.
In three strides, he’s in front of a door to the right, and he crashes into it, almost knocking it clean off its hinges.
I hear his murderous roar-“You fucking bastard!“–and the sound of fist hitting flesh before I step into the doorway and behold the carnage.
Lucas must have been reading in his bed because there’s a book in two pieces by the door, and Lucas-
I slap my hand over my mouth in horror.
Nathan has his older brother pinned to the ground, one hand gripping his collar tight enough to choke him, the other delivering heavy blows to his face.
“You depraved piece of shit!” Nathan snarls.
A tear slides down my cheek as I watch my fiancé morph into a rabid animal, foaming and growling.
What was I thinking? I knew no good would come out of it so why the fuck did I tell him about Lucas?
He’s so reserved and long–suffering, I didn’t think he had it in him to be this way. But maybe he’s held things in for too long, and my revelation was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
Oh God. I broke Nathan.
Lucas must have been stunned, because I see the moment he realizes what is happening, and the tables turn.
Using his hips, he throws Nathan off, rolling with the momentum. Suddenly, he’s on top, the one delivering the blows now.
That gets me moving.
“Stop!” I rush towards the two brothers, grabbing Lucas‘ arm. “Get the fuck off him!”
Lucas yanks his arm, shoving me back with a force that has me falling off my ass. “Get off me, you whiny bitch.”
“Don’t you fucking talk to her that way!” Nathan roars and manages to get another punch in.
But Lucas is stronger.
He snatches Nathan’s arm and pins it above his head, delivering a heavy blow to his jaw. “I’m going to teach you the lesson Dad never managed to,” he sneers.

Chapter 151
Terror twists my insides. “I said stop!”
:
I move toward Lucas just as he rears his elbow, and my head snaps back with the force of it slamming into my nose.
“April!”
The room spins, and the throbbing pain attacks me instantly.
1 blink furiously, trying to clear my suddenly blurry vision.

In front of me, Nathan and Lucas brawl like bears over the last piece of salmon. The ugly sound of fist hitting flesh fills the room, along with Nathan’s enraged roars and insults.
What have I done?
I scramble to my feet and run out of the room. I squint, trying to see and hear and think through the pain. My nose feels like it has a heartbeat of its own, pumping pain all over my face.
Other than Nathan’s room, there are two more doors in the corridor. Nathan once said that Samuel had the whole third floor to himself,
so I take the wild guess that the door I run towards belongs to Peter, not Marisol.
1 slam my hand against the door urgently, my heart thundering in my chest.
“Jeez, where’s the fire?” Peter freezes, taking me in with wide eyes. “Fucking hell, what happened to you, CQ?”
“They’re going to kill each other!” I sob.
“Wha-”
Then he hears it–the guttural sounds coming from Lucas‘ room across the hall.
“Shit–stay in my room,” he says before racing over to join the brawl.
1 ignore him and follow him back.
Lucas once again has Nathan on his back, and a sob tears out of me as he digs a knee into his stomach.
Peter missed his calling as a football player because the tackle he uses to take Lucas down is flawless and would have brought tears to Coach Levi’s eyes.
He pins Lucas to the ground and Lucas must be pretty fucking tired because he doesn’t resist, his chest heaving up and down.
I rush in, falling to my knees beside Nathan.
“Oh, Nathan,” I sob, my hands hovering over him. I’m afraid to touch him since I’m pretty sure he hurts everywhere.
There’s blood pooling out of several cuts on his face. His lip is split in two places, and I’m pretty sure this time, his nose is broken.
Bruises are already forming all over his bare torso, and when he inhales, he winces like there are knives in his lungs.
