With a smile, Cynthia said to him, "Alright. That's enough joking around. Just look at the confession that Hugo has prepared. Isn't it so romantic? Don't you feel pressured, needing to compete with that with your own confession?"

He nodded, but deep down in his heart, he was still unwilling to give up.

Magdalene questioned him in a haughty voice, "Do you think you have a chance?"
