Chapter 61
Alexander
I leaned close to Madison’s ear, letting my breath tickle her skin. “Don’t keep me waiting too long. You know how impatient I get.” The way her body tensed at my words sent a rush of satisfaction through me.
I strode toward the elevators, my cock already hardening at the thought of what I’d do to her when she came up. The doors slid shut, leaving me alone with my imagination. Visions of Madison writhing beneath me, her soft moans echoing in my ears, had my blood pumping faster.
The elevator doors slid open, and I stepped out, adjusting my suit jacket. My mind still swirled with thoughts of Madison – her soft skin, those little whimpers she made when I touched her just right.
The plush carpet muffled my footsteps as I strode down the hallway. I slowed as I approached my suite, noticing the door to 5019 directly across from mine. Abigail’s suite. What were the fucking odds?
“Coincidence, my ass,” I muttered, recalling our encounter at the bar. Abigail had always calculated and carefully orchestrated every move like a chess master. And now she just happened to be staying in the suite opposite mine?
I remembered how she used to “accidentally” bump into me at my favorite restaurants, always wearing something that showed off her assets. Subtle as a sledgehammer, that one. But this? This took planning.
The suite door clicked open, and I made my way to the plush armchair in the living area. The Las Vegas skyline stretched out beyond the floor–to–ceiling windows, but my mind was elsewhere.
My phone felt heavy in my pocket. I pulled it out and scrolled through my contacts until I found Leo’s number. The line rang twice before he picked up.
“Hey, man. What’s up?” Leo’s voice was casual, which could put anyone at ease.
“Leo, do you remember Abigail?”
“Abigail Whitmore?” He didn’t miss a beat.
“The very same. I need you to dig up some information from the Resort about her check–in details. Something’s not adding up.”
“Are you serious? It’s your damn Resort, just walk down to the front desk and flash that CEO smile of yours.” Leo’s laugh crackled through the phone. “Besides, I’m busy right now.”
“Small problem with that plan.” I stretched my legs out, crossing them at the ankles. “I’m not

staying at my Resort. Checked into Sky Resorts instead.”

“Wait, what?” The sound of shuffling papers stopped. “You’re telling me you passed up your own five -star accommodations for Sky Resorts? When did you start slumping it with the competition? Don’t tell me you’re doing market research now.”
I chuckled, running a hand through my hair. “Not exactly.”
“Well shit, might as well scope out the competition while you’re there. Their new pool setup’s supposedly something else.”
“Leo, focus. Abigail has been popping up everywhere like a bad penny. First, at the restaurant where I was having dinner, claiming it was just a ‘happy coincidence.‘ And now she’s staying in the suite directly across from mine at Sky Resorts. She’s also attending Andrew’s party.”
“Another coincidence?” Leo snorted.
“That’s what she claims. But you know how she operates – her coincidences are about as random as a rigged slot machine. That’s why I switched hotels. Wanted to see if she’d follow.”
“And she did.” Leo’s voice turned serious. “Fuck man, that’s not just stalker behavior, that’s some next–level calculation. She’s definitely up to something.”
“My thoughts exactly.” I drummed my fingers against the armrest. “She’s either planning something or…” I paused, the pieces clicking together. “What if she’s the one who drugged me at the event?”
“Holy shit.” Leo’s sharp intake of breath crackled through the line. “That’s actually not far–fetched. She’s got the means, the motive, and she’s sketchy as hell.”
“This isn’t a coincidence, Leo. The restaurant, the hotel suite, Andrew’s party – she’s working an angle.”
“Already on it. I’m actually in Vegas right now. Got a buddy working security at Sky Resorts who owes me a favor. Give me an hour, and I’ll have everything from her check–in details to what she had for breakfast.”
“Wait – I thought you weren’t coming to Vegas?” I sat up straighter, frowning at my phone.
Leo’s laughter boomed through the speaker. “And miss out on that Porsche you promised? Hell no. Been dreaming about that beauty since you mentioned it. Already picked the color and everything.”
“Of course you did.” I shook my head, a smirk tugging at my lips. “Let me guess – you’re staying at my resort?”
“Where else? The penthouse suite is sweet as fuck, by the way. Though I gotta say, your choice to stay at Sky is interesting.” His tone dripped with suggestion.

I rolled my eyes. “Focus on Abigail, not my accommodations.”

“Sure, sure. Do you want me to track down what she ordered for room service, too? It might give us insight into her devious master plan. You know, if she’s ordering lots of suspicious items like croissants.”
