Accidentally Yours (Merffy Kizzmet) novel Chapter 102

Chapter 102

Lola

Lola was still straddling him, chest heaving, body wrung out from the onslaught Enzo had unleashed in front of everyone. Her thighs clamped tight around his hips, her palms braced on his shoulders like she needed the anchor to keep from floating off the earth. She leaned forward, lips brushing his ear on a shaky exhale-

C

“I love you.”

The words slipped free, unfiltered, born from the high still burning her veins. And the second they were out, her blood froze.

Oh no. No, no, no, no. Did I just say that out loud? I did. I fucking did. Holy shit.

Heat rushed up her neck, her face going crimson. She didn’t dare move, didn’t dare breathe, but his hands had gone rigid on her waist- tight, steady, grounding. He’d heard.

Play it off. Laugh. Make it sound like a joke. No, he’s looking right at me. Don’t look back. Don’t-

But she did. She couldn’t help it. His eyes were locked on hers, heavy, unblinking, seeing right through her panic.

Behind them, the chaos didn’t stop.

“Jesus Christ,” Gino barked, still half–drowning against the ledge. “She called him Daddy. Out loud. Like it was nothing. I need bleach for my brain.”

Dom groaned, dragging himself out of the pool. “Nah, don’t even lie. That was the hottest shit I’ve ever seen. Man leveled the whole table and didn’t even break stride.”

“Facts,” Nico muttered, slicking water out of his hair. “I didn’t know she had that in her. Didn’t know he had that in him either.”

Their voices blurred at the edges, fading into the background as her pulse thundered in her ears.

Oh god. They didn’t hear me, right? Just him. Please just him. Please let the universe give me that one mercy.

Her throat felt tight, her chest worse, because the truth of it hit harder than the humiliation. She hadn’t lied. Not even close.

She loved him.

And now he knew

Enzo’s hand slid up, slow but deliberate, until his palm cupped her throat. Not choking, not hurting–just claiming. His thumb rested beneath her jaw, the rest of his fingers curling steady, pinning her in place.

“Say it again,” he growled, voice low and rough enough to scrape her spine. His eyes burned into hers, leaving no room to hide. “Don’t let it fall out by accident–say it to me on purpose.”

Her breath stuttered, panic and want colliding in her chest.
