Accidentally Yours (Merffy Kizzmet) novel Chapter 31

Chapter 31

Lola

Enzo hasn’t blinked in five minutes.

He sat next to her, shoulders loose but eyescoiled. Wound tight behind the calm, tracking everything like a war might break out on the pole stage.

She knew what it meant.

She wasn’t stupid.

She was a target now.

Someone recognized me.

Someone important knows I’m with Enzo.

And now I’m a complication.

She traced the edge of her glass, pretending not to notice the way Enzo’s thumb stayed anchored to her thigh like a restraint, like reassurance, like she might disappear.

If he wanted to get rid of me, this would be the time.

And honestlyI wouldn’t even blame him.

It’d be easier. Cleaner. No questions. No threats.

Just one more nobody swept off the board.

But Enzo?

He stayed.

He fought.

He looked at her like she was already his.

And maybe that’s why she did it.

Why the idea hit her all at once and felt completely right.

Why she couldn’t stop the grin.

She leaned in, whispered something sweet in his ear.

He noddedthought it was a flirty comment and turned back to Dom.

She slipped away.

She caught the floor manager mid–round, pulled him aside, and held up the envelope.

*Ten grand, she said, voice low and sweet. I need a clean outfit, one of your nicer private rooms, and I need you to get my guy in there without telling him what’s going on.

He raised a brow. “Just him?

She smiled slowly. You’ll know him when you see him.”

He took the envelope, opened it, did a quick count, and nodded once. No questions.

“I’ll have Cinnamon’s room prepped in two.”

She gave him a look.

It’s just a name on the rotation list,he added, smirking faintly. “You want to use another alias?

Her smile sharpened. No. Cinnamon’s perfect.

Enzo

There’s a VIP requesting a word with the owner,” the floor manager said, hushed.

Unusualsince Enzo was the VIP.

So naturally, Enzo grabbed Dom to walk with him–just in case someone forgot who the fuck he was.

The hallway curved tight, dim lights flickering overhead. Bass thrummed through the floorboards.

Enzo’s instincts stayed sharp.

Why are we in an empty private room?

Until the light changed.

Low. Sultry. Red.

The velvet curtain drew back.

And the announcer’s voice cut through the haze like a smile with teeth.

“Put your hands together for tonight’s private encore: Cinnamon.”

Dom frowned. “What the fu-”

And then she stepped out.

Lola.

Cinnamon.

In leather.

A black, strappy bathing suit–style top that barely contained anything, thin silver chains glinting down over her stomach like jewelry meant to distract and destroy.

A tiny leather skirt that hit midass, leaving black lace cheeky panties in full view.

Thigh–high stockings.

Heels that made her legs look criminal.

Enzo blinked.

This girl is just full of surprises. I want to devour that ass.

Then–without lookingshoved Dom straight out the door and yanked it shut behind him.

No fucking way is anyone else seeing this.

Lola stepped forward, smirking like the villain of every man’s undoing.

He didn’t speak.

Just pulled out his phoneand snapped one photo of her upside down on the pole.

For evidence.

For memory.

For background purposes.

Because whatever the hell she’s doing to mealready addicted.

around the pole, slow and deadly.

He sat down like gravity demanded it, already sweating, already lost. She spun off the pole like something out of a dreamslow, fluid, impossible. By the time she reached him, heels clicking, body swaying under the low red light, Enzo had forgotten what breathing felt like.

Black leather straps bit into her curves, silver chains glinting across her stomach, her skirt covering absolutely nothing. Black lace on full display.

His whole body tensed.

I’m going to cum just from watching her.

“Relax,she murmured. “It’s a thank–you. Not an execution.”

God help me.

You came for me,she added, voice soft. “And I know how much that moment could’ve cost you. So… thank you.”

Enzo swallowed, eyes locked on hers.

I’d do it a million times over if it always leads to this. Might even have to set it up so we can end up right here.

I shouldn’t have let it happen,” he rasped. “I let my guard down. Let myself get distracted.”

Her hands slid into his hair lightly tugging his hair so his head pulled back and he was looking at her.

And now people know you exist,he continued, bitterness creeping in. “That you’re mine. That means you’re a target. That’s on me.

She didn’t stop moving–but her gaze locked with his.

You didn’t let anything happen, she said firmly. “That asshole made a choice. I handled him and the guys made sure he got home safe.”

A flick of a smirk. “Though I do appreciate the dramatic backup.

His fingers dug into the sides of the chair.

You’re allowed to feel things,” she added, brushing her lips over his cheek. “Just maybe wait to spiral until after I’ve finished giving you the best lap dance of your life?

Enzo huffed a quiet laugh. Just one.

I feel to drawn to this girl for anything to happen to her. There’s so much about her I want to know.

But the tension didn’t fully ease.
