Chapter 132
Find me this streamer!
“Darion?”
The person speaking looked at him, confused.
Darion didn’t care what influence these people had in Criford. He grabbed one and asked, “It’s her. Do you know this
streamer?”
The man was stunned. “Darion, this is the Chamber of Commerce. A small-time streamer…”
What do you know!
Darion didn’t say that out loud. “Forget it, I’ll find her myself.”
Clearwater Lane, Silverleaf. The GPS can get me there.
This foreign investment meeting was held specifically for Darion. Now that he was leaving, everyone else was natu- rally anxious.
“Darion, the meeting isn’t over, you…” The Davis Clan, relying on their connections in the medical field, added, “It’s not appropriate for you to just leave like this, is it?”
Inappropriate my ass. I don’t give a damn who you are. You’re not treating me, and besides, you’re not as good a doc- tor as my Boss.
Darion was a rough character. Don’t be fooled by the sharp suit he was wearing now; he used to be the type to wear big gold watches and chains. The swagger of a man from The American West was on full display. “So the meeting’s
not over?
It really isn’t appropriate for me to leave.”
Marilyn thought she had persuaded him.
But then Darion’s next sentence was, “Then let’s adjourn the meeting. Everyone can leave.”
After saying that, he didn’t waste another second, beckoning his bodyguards over with a grand flourish.
Meanwhile, in the downstairs reception hall of the Chamber of Commerce building, Stephan had been waiting for a
full three hours.
He had originally planned to catch a word with Darion, the second-in-command of General Electric, during breakfast. He didn’t expect that not only would he not see the man, but he’d also miss the Chamber of Commerce meeting.
Now he could only sit here and worry, let alone breakfast, he hadn’t even been offered a glass of water!

The secretaries at the Chamber of Commerce headquarters were all snobs. With executives around, they were obvi- ously busy attending to them.
No one had even bothered to greet him.
Stephan couldn’t hold back his anger any longer. For the umpteenth time, he forced a smile and cautiously asked the receptionist, “Excuse me, I’d like to ask, is Darion from General Electric still unavailable?”
“That’s right.”
The receptionist’s voice was lukewarm; she was annoyed at being asked so often. “Darion came to Criford to handle important business first. The water park project is the top priority. The Whitman Corporation’s matter is minor, so it’ll have to wait.”
Stephan was not happy to hear that!
How could the survival of The Whitman Corporation be a minor matter!
But no matter how angry he was, he knew he couldn’t lose his temper here. “Can’t you make an exception? Actually, I have a connection with Darion. We’ve worked together before.”
The receptionist laughed when she heard this. “Worked together?
Well, that makes it easy. Stephan, you should just contact Darion directly. It’ll be faster if you do. There’s really noth- ing I can do here.”
The Chamber of Commerce is the Chamber of Commerce. No matter how big you act outside, they can check your credentials here.
Other places might not know about the Whitman family’s situation, but the Chamber of Commerce knew it all too well.
Stephan had never been humiliated like this. “You just look down on people!
