Chapter 194
Author’s POV
“Me.” The cold syllable dropped from above like a stone.
Alpha Reid looked up through his pain–clenched teeth, barely making out the man’s appearance through his watering eyes.
The man standing over him was no ordinary werewolf. Tall and imposing with chiseled features that seemed carved from marble, his piercing blue eyes held the unmistakable dominance of a high–ranking Alpha.
His athletic build was deceptively lean, masking the lethal power beneath his designer clothes.
What the hell? Some pretty boy?
Reid was certain he’d never seen this man before.
Who the hell did he think he was, stepping in like that?
Didn’t he know who Reid was–the second son of the Northern Lakes Alpha?
Alpha Reid had always gotten away with whatever he wanted.
With his family’s wealth and influence in the Northern Territories Pack, few dared to stand against him.
When had he ever been humiliated like this?
And in front of so many witnesses.
If word of this got out, he’d be a laughingstock across the entire pack network.
How could he–Alpha Reid–ever show his face again?
The thought made his blood boil.
His face flickered between red and white as he fought through the pain, snarling at the man:
“You insolent pup! Do you have any idea who I am?! You’ll regret–AHHH!”
Before he could finish, excruciating pain exploded in his chest. Blood sprayed from his mouth as his scream tore through the air.
Several women on the yacht’s deck covered their mouths in shock, their eyes fixed on the gleaming leather shoe crushing down on Alpha Reid’s chest. They couldn’t believe what they were seeing–this man who appeared almost too refined for battle had an aura so chilling and strikes so merciless.
That single stomp had nearly taken half of Reid’s life.
Alpha Reid had clearly suffered internal injuries, too agonized to form words. In contrast, the unforgettable handsome face above him showed nothing but frost, without a trace of fear or hesitation.
“Alpha Reid!” One of his lackeys rushed forward to help.

But another man casually extended his leg, tripping him effortlessly.
“THUD!” The lackey fell face–first onto the deck, yelping in pain.
Jeremy crossed his arms, looking down at the pathetic display with a sneer.

“You think you can help with those weak moves? You’re only good for bullying young Omega girls. Running into us is your bad luck today.‘
He turned, pulling out a knife and tossing it to Alpha Alexander. “Alpha, I’ve got this covered.”
Alexander caught the knife with practiced ease, increasing the pressure on Reid’s chest. The trapped man coughed violently, struggling for breath. “Cough! Cough! COUGH!”
Alexander loomed above him like a vengeful deity, his gaze falling on Reid’s swollen, fat face. His beautiful, narrow eyes had turned deadly with rage. “Which hand touched her, hmm?”
The drawn–out question hung in the air as he flicked open the knife. The sharp blade gleamed menacingly in the sunlight, his eyes radiating bone–chilling coldness. “Left, or right?”
The deadly blade hovering before him terrified Reid so thoroughly that he could no longer even feel his pain. Every cell in his body froze with fear as sweat poured down his face in large droplets.
His chest heaving, he swallowed hard and stammered, “W–what are you g–going to do?”
“Not answering? So both hands touched her then?”
“I didn’t!” The man’s words finally made Reid understand why this disaster had fallen upon him–it was all about that woman?
He hurriedly denied it, only because his opponent was too terrifying.
Though he looked like a pretty face, his words and actions were more frightening than the devil’s. Had he known this would happen, he would never have touched that woman.
But it was clearly too late for such regrets. Still, he was the son of the Northern Lakes Pack Alpha. With so many people watching, surely this man wouldn’t actually dare harm him?
He probably just wanted to scare him a little.
“L–listen, I’m Alpha Reid, second son of the Northern Lakes Alpha Council member. If you… if you hurt me, my pack won’t let you get away with it.”
“You’d better… think carefully.”
“Son of the Northern Lakes Alpha?” Alexander repeated the words slowly.
Reid thought he’d intimidated him. “Since you know that, you’d better let me go now, or your life is forfeit.”
Alexander narrowed his eyes, looking at him as one might regard a stray dog on the roadside–with absolute contempt.
“I couldn’t care less about the entire Northern Lakes Council, let alone a mere second son. You dare raise your

“If you’re so eager to die, I won’t stop you.” As he spoke, his hand rose and the knife fell.
“AHHH!” Alpha Reid’s tendon was severed with brutal efficiency, blood spraying across the deck.
“Who the hell are you? You–you actually dare?” His agonized screams filled the air as his bloodshot eyes watched the knife rise again.
Horrified, he shook his head. “No-!”
The next second: “AHHH!”
Both hands now rendered useless with severed tendons. From this day forward, he would be no different from a cripple in werewolf society–a fate worse than death for an Alpha’s son.
Unable to bear the pain and shock, Alpha Reid fell unconscious amid his own screams.
The onlookers who had been enjoying the spectacle now trembled at the bloody scene, backing away in fear.
From the moment the man appeared until now, barely two or three minutes had passed.
Yet the situation had undergone a shocking reversal–the once arrogant Alpha Reid now lay in a pool of his own blood, barely clinging to life.
Everyone was wondering: who exactly was this man who dared to act so ruthlessly without hesitation? The Northern Lakes Pack was one of the powerful regional families, yet he showed absolutely no concern? More strangely, why hadn’t any security personnel intervened despite such violence?
