Breaking Free, Loving Again -The Flash Marriage with Mr. CEO novel Chapter 726

Chapter 726: Never appear in your life.

Caden was stunned. His brows furrowed as he stared at Aiden, unable to believe that he didn’t even care when his grandfather was mentioned.

Did he really not fear anything at all?

A man who is fearless of all couldn’t be threatened. And that makes him unstoppable.

If Aiden truly was that kind of man, then Caden feared nothing —no old friendships, family ties, ties of blood —would be able to stop him.

Aiden’s gaze remained sharp at piercing the man. He didn’t falter; instead, by locking eyes with Caden, he made it abundantly clear. He wanted no doubts to remain.

"I don’t care about anything," Aiden said, his voice low but laced with steel. "All I have ever cared about is one woman —my wife, Arwen Aiden Winslow. So, burning bridges with your family, or even the entire world, means nothing to me."

"Aiden, you —" Caden’s chest heaved with suppressed anger. "Do you really think yourself so capable? You can think you can shake us just after being around for a mere few years. Don’t forget I have been in the industry far longer than you. And my family with each other, in terms of both wealth and reputation. Do you think you can single-handedly make us fall?"

Aiden leaned back slightly in his chair, a cold smirk curving his lips. "You can wait and see whether I can or cannot. After all, it has only been a few hours. There is still time —and plenty of losses yet to make you realize."

"You —!" 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

Caden’s voice faltered as his phone buzzed violently in his pocket. He pulled it out, his eyes scanning the screen. His face blanched.

The stocks of their flagship company had plummeted in less than a day, dragging their partners down with them. A wave of panic clawed at his chest.

It had only been a few hours, yet they had already lost a fortune. If this continued, Caden feared their empire would crumble before his eyes.

Slowly, he lifted his gaze back at Aiden. He sat there like a king, making a mere wooden chair look like a throne, under his charm and aura. Looking at him so calm and composed felt like, as though he had orchestrated this entire destruction with the ease of moving a single chess piece.

Caden clenched his fists, his nails digging into his palms. "You will regret this. One day, you will regret it."

But Aiden didn’t even feign care. He just laughed, low and dangerous. "The only thing I would ever regret is not protecting my wife. Letting people bully her. Question her worth and importance in my life —in my world. And that is something I will never allow."

Caden stared at him, his expression twisted as though he swallowed filth. His pride refused to let him crumble before Aiden’s eyes, but beneath that pride was gnawing fear of what tomorrow might bring if he couldn’t make Aiden stop his ruthless onslaught.

"Fine," Caden ground out, his voice stiff. "I will make Selene apologize to your wife. She will go on her knees if that’s what it takes. Will that make you stop all this?"

"Dad!" Selene couldn’t help but whine. She never thought her father wouldn’t just not take revenge for her; rather, he would instead agree to make her go on her knees to apologize.

Caden looked at her with a frown. "Shut up! Aren’t you already satisfied with your situation? Look where you have gotten us. Our family, our generation-long legacy, is at stake."

Selene wanted to retort, but when she saw the warning gaze of his father, she didn’t dare.

Caden looked at his daughter, his brows furrowing in concern.

"Dad, please!" Selene begged.

"Aiden, Selene is my daughter. How could you ask a father to abandon his own daughter like that?"

Aiden looked at him evenly. "I am not forcing you, Mr. Martin. You can decide."

"Aiden," Selene cried, this time no longer holding back her sobs, "how could you do this to me? For you, I donated blood to your mother at such a young age. Don’t you feel even a little indebted to me?"

"I used to feel," Aiden admitted. "But it’s all gone the moment you thought you could use it against Arwen."

Selene’s fingers clenched.

Caden’s brows furrowed. Selene was his only daughter. He had always treasured her. He couldn’t bear to leave his daughter here when he knew how she would be treated here.

After thinking, he suggested, "Aiden, I know, Selene did something that she shouldn’t have. But you have to understand that she is my daughter, the cherished young lady of Martin family. You can keep her here in this situation. Let her leave with me and I promise she will never appear again in your life."
