Chasing the Runaway Luna (Athena) novel Chapter 33

Chloe turned her attention to the Silvermoon Pack, constantly calling Olivia to push her along.

Olivia was the only one who could control Ryan, and she was determined to take advantage of the opportunity.

Under Olivia’s pressure, Ryan was forced to publicly acknowledge that Chloe would be the Luna of

the pack and that he had marked her as his mate.

Everyone in the pack knew about their situation, and no one offered their congratulations.

After the announcement, Chloe began pushing Olivia to arrange their mating ceremony.

It was no secret that she had a scandalous reputation, and asking Olivia to handle the ceremony

was a joke in itself.

But now that Chloe knew she would soon be the Luna of the Silvermoon Pack, she began to assert

her dominance at home.

Even if Ryan ignored her, she no longer cared.

I spoke with your mom,she said with a smirk. We’re having the mating ceremony next

month.

She got exactly what she wanted.

When Ryan heard those words, his expression immediately soured.

Dream on,he muttered.

Chloe laughed coldly, not at all bothered by his words.

She knew she was getting closer to her goal.

Ryan experienced, for the first time, what it felt like to live with someone he didn’t love.

No matter how much he tried to avoid her, Chloe’s presence haunted him.

He hated herhated her so deeply that he dreamed of killing her.

She had ruined his life, and now he wouldn’t let her dreams come true. He would make Chloe suffer the same pain he felt.

For the first time, Ryan spoke to Chloe.

I have something for you. Come upstairs.

Chloe smiled, thinking that Ryan still cared for her.

She eagerly went upstairs, but just as she reached the second floor, Ryan suddenly appeared in

front of her.

Without hesitation, he shoved her down the stairs. Chloe didn’t have time to react.

She tumbled down, crashing into the wall.

Lying in pain, she looked up at Ryan, unable to believe that he had pushed her to this point.

But the sharp pain in her abdomen soon made her realize what he had done.

Ryan wanted her to miscarry!

There was no gift, no kindnessit was all a lie to trick her.

Sitting on the ground, she panicked and screamed for help. But she didn’t know that Ryan had

sent the maids away.

Lying in a pool of blood, Chloe looked up at Ryan, her face contorted in desperation, tears streaming down her face.

Get the pack doctor! It’s our child!she cried, Please.

Ryan coldly stared at her, completely unmoved. He smiled.

You don’t deserve to carry my child. You can’t even compare to Tessa,he said, his voice dripping with disdain.

Chloe felt a despair like never before.

It wasn’t until nearly half an hour later that the ambulance finally arrived.
