76 Belladonna She sat in her home with Whit and Milly ; Mirror had taken the other children in the orphanage .

up to the packhouse to watch a movie in the theater , knowing that Parker was going to be formally introduced to Whit after dinner and everyone thought it would be best if the other children werent there to sit and stare at them all .

Bella had opted for an after dinner meeting .

It was a school day , and she didnt exactly know how it was going to go .

She didnt want Whit to not eat his dinner afterwards , if he was unhappy .

Hed been quiet on the subject of his father since learning the truth about why hed never known him .

Knew of the agreement to have him relinquished to her and also now knew it was all a lie on his own fathers , Mates part .

She didnt know his thoughts on the subject .

Hed only huffed and shaken his head , looked at her with a frown and stated , It was all a lie and no one knew , except for the Luna of that pack , after you and he rejected each other ? Shed nodded at him and stated Yes , Hed been informed that Parker was now there inside the pack , though shed kept that to herself until after his school day was finished , so as not to distract him .

But she had previously told him Parker was going to come back when Gretta allowed it .

This was that day .

Parker also hadnt interrupted Whits school day and hadnt asked that their son be presented to him right away .

Had acknowledged it was midweek and would take that into consideration , had asked what shed wanted in fact .

Shed thought about it and asked if it could be after dinner .

They ate at six .

Hed nodded and Gretta had stated she would bring Parker down to the orphanage herself , and she knew why Gretta was going to be there .

It was to make sure things stayed civil and there was no Alpha to Alpha fight breaking out if she and Parker got into it .

Whit hadnt eaten all of his dinner , only about half of it , and she knew it was because he was nervous about meeting the man and wolf who was his father .

He had asked some questions about him when first learning about him two weeks ago .

Hed been trying to figure out what Parker was going to do or want , now that he knew about having a son .

There was a knock on the door , and she looked at Whit .

He just nodded , and she got up to answer it , smiled at Gretta and nodded to Parker .

Come in , she stated and opened the door for them .

No Kane ? she asked Parker as she realised his Beta wasnt here .

1/4 +8 Point 76 No , hes off visiting Mina right now , Parker told her .

She nodded and motioned for the two of them to follow her past her office and into the living area , where Whit was sitting with Milly on his lap , helping her colour in at the coffee table .

She directed Parker to a seat across from Whit , so hed be facing his son while she sat on the sofa behind where Whit and Milly sat .

Gretta took up a seat next to her .

Whit , this is Alpha Parker Hartly of the Lustrous Moon , hes your father .

Bella told him , a formal introduction which was what she knew was protocol .

Bella watched as his eyes moved to the very man Parker , this is Whitney , our son .

Or Whit as he goes by .

She saw Parker smile a little , kind of gently she thought , at his son .

As they looked at each other , she wasnt going to interfere , and she knew Whits kin bond would be snapping into place , now that hed come face to face with his father .

Hello Whitney , Parker stated simply , trying she thought to keep it casual .

Hello , Whit replied .

Its good to finally meet you , I hope we can get along .

Parker smiled properly .

He too would have registered that kin bond snapping into place for Whit .

Why do we need to do that ? Whit asked .

I just think it would be nice if we did .

Parker nodded .

Im sure you have many questions to ask me .

Id be happy to answer them , Parker offered .

Really … I dont think youll like them .

Whit stated and stood up .

He turned and handed Milly to her , and she settled in Bellas lap as he sat down next to her on the sofa .

They might be difficult , Parker acknowledged , but I will try my best to answer them .

If I cant , perhaps your mother or even Alpha Gretta could do that .

I guess that would depend on the question , of course .

Whit nodded .

I dont really have any , I thought you were dead .

He stated with a shrug .

What ? Parker blinked in complete shock and turned his eyes to her .
