She was only three and a half , though not once in the time he was there , was there a mention of her father , and he got the feeling there wasnt one .

Hed also seen Whitney watch all the interactions between not only himself and his mother , but Kane and his mother as well when they were all together .

He could see she was at ease with talking to Kane about almost anything at all .

It was a little more stilted between him and her , but he made every effort to talk to her .

He didnt interrupt Belladonnas working day anymore than he did Whitneys school day .

He was also not interrupting her conversations with Kane , or Mina , who sat down with them sometimes , which let Whit know she was Kanes sister .

She also asked about Annette and how the hospital was running , and he was honest with her , when she asked about deaths .

Which made her sigh a little on the heavy side , but it was rare that packs had non existent deaths , like when shed been his Luna and pack doctor .

He asked her about how it was going here , only to find out that his thoughts had been right .

Shed not lost a single pup or she wolf since coming here ; none at the Alpha College either .
