Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1108

It was such a movement that drew Patrick's attention to notice that there was something hidden underneath her ass.

Upon closer inspection, he soon realized that it was the bracelet gifted by Milton!

The mixed feeling of anger and frustration began to take charge of him. He could not help but snort. There was no way that she could keep it with her forever.

Amelia furrowed at his snort. After that, there was no reason for him to stay if her presence had annoyed him so much.

It was at this time that the doorbell began to ring.

Amelia wondered who was here to pay a visit to them.

She could not help but think of the possibility that Eve might be here to get even with her.

Amelia was taken aback by such a possibility that she threw away her spoon subconsciously. She turned around and shouted out to Patrick who was about to open the door, "Just say that I'm not around if anyone were to ask my whereabouts."

With that said, she ran towards the second floor and vanished herself from his sight.

Her reaction had sent Patrick in puzzlement.

However, in the next second, Patrick's eyes sparkled with triumph as soon as he realized that Amelia had left the bracelet behind.

As the doorbell was still ringing, he hurriedly picked it up from the couch and stuffed it in his pocket before walking towards the door.

Upon opening the door, all he could see were two elders standing outside the gate. One of them was about to strike at the gate with the walking stick in his hand.

Without hesitation, he went over and greeted, "Granny, old man, you're here."

Gramps Hopper was not pleased at the way Patrick addressed him, "Where's your manner? Call gramps!"

Patrick did not seem to bother his anger. He glanced at Granny Hopper and asked, "Granny, why are you here?"

Granny Hopper replied kindly, "Not only both of us are here. In fact, everyone has come."

"What do you mean?"

"Your father told us that both of you will be at home today. Hence, after discussing with the rest, we decide to move forward with tomorrow's plan and make it today. Where's Amelia? Let her know we're here so that she can get ready to go with us. Our car is waiting outside."

Upon hearing this, Patrick's expression changed all in a sudden. He could not help thinking of Amelia's injured hand.

Gramps Hopper who had all this while been treated as if he was invisible hushed, "Kiddo, we're here because of your wife. Why are you still standing here? Go inside and get your wife now!"

Patrick pointed at his stomach and said, "Granny, to be honest with you, Amelia and I already had our breakfast. Why not you go without us?"

Granny Hopper rolled her eyes at him before she explained, "You're a smart one. Think of it again. Amelia and your Mom are in a conflict now. By gathering them around so that we can have breakfast together, we might be able to resolve their conflict."

Seeing that Patrick was not get moving still, Gramps Hopper could not help but provoke him, "Are you going or not? Don't be a sissy!"

Patrick was not going to be fooled by his trick. He refused, "Nope."

Gramps Hopper roared, "I have come all the way to ask you to come with us! Are you going to say no to me, you b*stard?"

"What did you call me?"

"B*stard!"

"Well, I can't deny it. Just like I can't deny the fact that I'm your grandson too, can I?"

"Don't you ever stop me! I'm going to teach him a lesson!" Gramps Hopper was about to hit Patrick with his walking stick as he grunted.

"That's enough! You know that he's just messing around with you!" Granny Hopper came between them right before they ended up in a brawl.

"Gramps! Granny!"

It was at this time that Amelia showed herself up from the path in the garden.

As soon as she returned to her room, she peeked at the window and realized that it was not Eve who showed up at the door. It was only then she came down to greet them in relief.

Gramps Hopper was the first one to notice of Amelia's presence. A sense of joy flashed across his face before he steadied his voice and said, "Ahem! You're here."

Although Gramps Hopper was nowhere close to be regarded as friendly, his tensed expression softened a little as soon as he saw Amelia.

Amelia smiled flatteringly at Gramps Hopper and

Granny Hopper before she turned around and said to

Patrick, "Why didn't you let granny and gramps to come inside of the house?"

Amelia struggled to fight off the heat on her cheek.

She hurriedly looked away before she asked, "Eh, are you sure that you're free today?"

"Yeah."

"Hold on. But you're supposed to go and have reunion with Sissi, aren't you?"

Frowning, Patrick asked, "What reunion? Do you really think she is my family?"

Amelia sneered, "Isn't this what you hope for?"

As soon as Patrick came to notice that Gramps Hopper was about to turn around, he hurriedly held her waist and brought her to his front. He gritted his teeth as he uttered, "I guess this is what you hope for!"

"Let go of me!" Amelia glared at him as she was feeling uncomfortable about the shortened distance between the two of them.

"Have you two done whispering?"

Gramps Hopper cleared his throat before he asked impatiently.

Upon hearing this, Amelia dared not to move at all.

Patrick continued to whisper to the woman who was currently in his arms, "I thought you like to pretend as if we're madly in love in front of the elders. If I say that I'm going to kiss you now, what will you say?"

Before Amelia could say anything, Patrick had already planted a kiss on her lips.

At the sight of Patrick making out with Amelia right in front of him, Gramps Hopper could feel his jaw dropping. He grunted, "What's going on with this world? Where's your manner in front of elders? Shame on you!"

Granny Hopper who was ahead of them turned around and asked, "Who are you scolding now?"

Gramps Hopper's expression darkened. He turned away from looking at both of them before he said, "Who else will make me as angry as your beloved grandson does?"

Granny Hopper sneaked a glance at Patrick and Amelia before she was overwhelmed with joy, "Ah! I see. It's good to see that Patrick is now appreciating and loving Amelia more. It seems like Amelia's unconditional love for him all this while begins to pay off!"

Gramps Hopper stomped his walking stick in anger, "This is nonsense!"

Granny Hopper hawked, "You have such an old-fashioned mindset! How are we going to get a grandchild if both of them are not in love with each other?"
