Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1144

After both arms have been returned to their rightful owners, Amelia said to everyone expressionlessly, "I'm in a bad mood today and I don't feel like going with anyone here. Please go back!"

Although this decision had somewhat neglected Gramps Hopper and Uncle Quartley, Amelia was ultimately not born to serve this group of people!

Why would she insist on comforting a heartless person who could not even experience one-tenth of the pain she felt?

It can also be said that she was selfish. She just wanted to go back to the Ramsay Family to have a good sleep after today's incident! She would talk about what would happen afterwards with them when she woke up!

Upon hearing what she said, a strange look appeared in Patrick's eyes. "Are you sure you don't want to go with me?"

"That's right!" Amelia looked at him, unyielding.

In public, with the elders and servants of the Ramsay Family still around, no matter how arrogant Patrick was, he was unable to seize her away, right?

Patrick suddenly lowered his head and whispered into Amelia's ears. "So, what you mean is that you don't want to save your father?" He asked in a voice that only could be heard by both of them.

His words were like a bolt of lightning that struck through Amelia's head, causing it to buzz in a frenzy.

In the next second, she contradicted herself and said, "I'll go with you!"

As soon as she finished talking, all the people around her were dumbfounded.

Even Owen could not help but want to ask Patrick for advice. What he said instantaneously changed Amelia's mind.

Patrick raised his head and instructed, "Let's go. I don't want to waste any more of my precious time."

"I know!" answered Amelia with a frown. She turned to look at Alice and said softly, "Aunt Alice, I'll go with Patrick for now. You can head home first."

Alice had already given up on Patrick's frosty attitude. It was hard for her to associate him with the man who was so willing to serve George.

Alice pressed on worriedly, "Amelia, I'll send two people to go with you."

However, these words were overheard by Patrick. He lightly informed her, "Madam Green, rest assured that I won't do anything to Amelia because everyone knows that she will be leaving with me."

Amelia nodded, "Aunt Alice, Patrick's right. Don't worry, I'll be able to take a good care of myself."

Alice still had a worried look plastered on her face. It can even be said that Amelia and she was like 'an orphan and a widow'. If anything happened to Amelia, how could she explain it to George?

She lowered her tone and added, "But why do I still feel that there is something wrong with Patrick today? You should listen to me and take two of your servant to stay with you!"

Amelia shook her head, "Aunt Alice, you're wrong. What you're seeing today is really Patrick's true colours."

He was truly arrogant and obstinate.

It was not Alice's exaggerated reaction, but Patrick's good disguise in front of her that misguided her to think that he was a sheep instead of a wolf.

No matter how good and blunt Alice was in trying to persuade her, Amelia eventually rejected her proposal because she could see that Patrick was not willing to bring anyone else with him.

Amelia had been together with him for so long. If she did not even have the ability to observe his behavior, how could they be called husband and wife in the past?

Before leaving, Alice clasped Amelia's hand in hers and whispered, "Amelia, call me if anything happens to you!"

Patrick snorted in his heart. If he really wanted to do something to Amelia, would Alice think that Amelia's call for help would be able to get through?

Amelia nodded and followed Patrick to his car.

Ryan's secretary was about to catch up to her but was stopped by Sawyer instead. "Stop chasing after her."

Since the secretary was stopped by him, she instantly lost this great opportunity to catch up with Amelia.

A trace of despise flashed across the secretary's heart as she looked at Sawyer. "Sir, I have to head back immediately to report to Mr. Quartley about today's matter. You can do as you please."

Sawyer could not care less about the secretary's attitude and let her go.

Hopper, since you're so angry, I'll order you a cup of lavender tea. You wouldn't mind, would you?"

Patrick put on a false smile and retorted, "I don't think President Ramsay looks very well either. It seems like you don't pay much attention to your menstruation. I think you should order yourself a rose tea. For the sake of our marriage, you can drink whatever you like today. It's my treat."

Amelia's pretty face became slightly hurt and then she returned to the tea-brewer and said, "Mr. Thompson, we don't have to look at this menu. Just bring us the most expensive tea leaves your shop can offer."

The tea-brewer then asked in a routine manner, "Miss, how much tea do you want?"

Amelia answered easily, "Give me a hundred kilograms first."

The tea master turned pale with fright, "One...one hundred kilograms?"

Their most expensive tea would be able to purchase a house in Northville with only one kilogram!

"That's right. I can take the rest home with me if I can't finish drinking by today. Anyway, it's your treat, isn't it, Mr. Hopper?" Amelia retaliated and asked Patrick.

Patrick questioned lightly, "One hundred kilos? Is President Ramsay the representative of gluttony yourself?"

Amelia replied provocatively, "If Mr. Hopper can't afford a hundred kilograms of tea, you should have just told me earlier. I can take back what I just said."

Patrick remained indifferent, "I have enough money, but I'm afraid that they don't have enough tea for you."

Amelia was stunned and looked at the tea master.

"One hundred kilos of our most expensive tea, there really isn't enough here!" The tea-making master

answered with full honesty.

As for the best tea leaves in their confectionery, even if there were guests who ordered this ordinarily was already an amazing point. However, even for them to sell one kilogram of tea leaves took them about half a year, what more if to say a hundred kilograms?
