Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1172

Sawyer replied straightforwardly, "I'll get Brayden to give you a ride right away. He'll take care of you along the way."

Amelia's voice turned cold. "That one-eyed man?"

Sawyer emphasized, "You can call him Brayden."

Amelia insisted calling him, "One, eyed, man."

Sawyer's tone went low, "Ms. Ramsay, Brayden doesn't like others to talk about his flaws. I hope you can show some respect if you don't want him to point a gun at your head."

Amelia said unhappily, "What about him? How could he hide at my house silently and wait to ambush me while I'm alone? Why should I respect him if he doesn't show me respect?"

Sawyer said with a deep tone, "I'll get someone else instead. Is that alright?"

"That's much better..." Amelia mumbled. After making clear of her current location, she ended the call quickly.

Amelia turned her gaze to Savannah when she handed the phone to Savannah. Then said with a smile, "Savannah, thank you. I've done talking with Mr. Sawyer. Here's your phone."

Hearing that, Savannah frowned slightly. She thought to herself, "Amelia is such a weirdo!"

In front of the servants, Amelia would politely call out, "Mr. Sawyer." When she was with Sawyer, she would directly call out his name and even use a shouting tone! As if she was not afraid of offending him!

After receiving the phone, Savannah said unintentionally, "Ms. Ramsay, it turns out that...you don't have a relationship with Mr. Quartley."

Amelia twiddled her lips. "Of course we don't. How would I take a fancy to him..."

Although she said the latter half of the sentence softly, Savannah still heard it.

There was a fleeting trace of anger in Savannah's eyes.

By the time Amelia returned to the Ramsay Family, it was already half past ten in the evening.

She slammed the door rudely, restrained her impulse to kick at the car and let it drove off.

"Who is it?" It was the security guard Tim, who was on duty.

After hearing the movement at the entrance, he quickly ran out to take a look...

When Tim saw the woman standing outside the door was Amelia, he rubbed his eyes as if he had seen a ghost and asked confusedly, "Ms.... Ms. Amelia! When did you leave?"

Amelia turned around and looked at Tim with resentment. "You're on duty all day?"

"Yes." Tim was still confused.

He had not seen Amelia walk out of the door during the day, but at this moment, she was standing outside the door. Had he saw a ghost?!

Amelia looked at Tim's face, and she knew that Tim knew nothing about her 'trip' of the day!

And this was indeed a dangerous matter.

She must make it clear to the security guards at home!

It was fine that they only came for her. If one day, someone came for Alice, how could she explain it to George and Brittany?

Thinking of this, Amelia said seriously, "Tim, let me ask you, did you let an one-eyed man come into our compound this morning?"

Tim said without hesitation, "Yes! He said that he worked for the Quartley family, and he also gave us relevant evidence. We all know that the Quartley family is very familiar with you..."

Amelia was displeased and raised her eyebrows.

"What do you mean they're familiar with me?"

Amelia thought Patrick would not be here at such hours, but the reality was contrary to what she thought.

She had thought that Patrick would be chatting with three junior cadres, and it would be impossible for him to notice her. However, she had been wrong again.

Patrick noticed her the moment she appeared.

Seeing that she was like a little mouse, planning to escape from him, Patrick picked his lips coldly and said, "You guys want to know who my ex-wife was, don't you? Here, she's behind you. Ask her yourself."

As the words left Patrick's mouth, the three cadres turned around in unison. They looked at Amelia, who was trying hard to slip past them.

Amelia stopped and looked at them with a smile on her face. In just a short period of time, she had been fully prepared for it.

"Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Patrick's ex-wife. My name is..."

"Amelia Ramsay." Someone spoke on her behalf, with a tone full of contempt. "We all know what your name is and have also heard of your glorious deeds."

"Oh, really?" Amelia looked at the speaker with interest. "Miss, what's your name?"

"My name is Winifred Hugh. My father used to serve under old Mr. Hopper in the army. When my father heard that old Mr. Hopper was sick, he sent me to visit him. By the way, these two are my comrades-in-arms. This is Shawn Quentin, and this is Neal Gibson."

"Hello." In accordance with Winifred's introduction, Amelia tilted her head slightly to look at them and reached out her hand to them.

During the process, Amelia's hair, which had been scattered behind her shoulders, slid down gently, making her face look even more delicate.

Both Shawn and Neal were veterans in the army, and most of the girls they saw were valiant.

That was the first time they saw such a ladylike girl like Amelia. They more or less felt a little uneasy.

They looked at each other for a moment. Winifred impatiently hit Shawn's stomach with her elbow and said with a fake smile, "She's greeting you guys, don't make a fool of yourself?"
