Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1171

Amelia was stunned by her words.

All of the villas on the Nine Streams looked exactly the same. And she needed to search one by one to find him?

"How long will it take!" Amelia thought unbelievingly.

She asked unbelievingly, "How could you not know the phone number of your master since you worked for the Quartley family?"

The maid said helplessly, "Because the master is someone who values his privacy."

Amelia begged in a pleading tone. "Please think about it. Who has his contact?"

Amelia stopped abruptly and patted her forehead in annoyance. As if just woken from a dream, she said, "Oh! I was bewildered. I forgot about Abner..."

"Abner doesn't like to communicate with others, and he is at home all day. He has someone to take care of him too, so he has no phone." The maid's words hit Amelia on the head.

Under the disappointed eyes of Amelia, the maid continued, "Well... But according to the experience, if something happened to Abner, the first person who contacted sir...would always be Savannah."

Amelia's beautiful eyes lit up. "Where's Savannah?"

"I saw her just now. She entered her room..."

Before the maid could finish her sentence, Amelia had already disappeared in a flash.

The maid was puzzled.

Logically speaking, given Amelia's relationship with Sawyer, she was about to become Sawyer's wife. It was impossible that she did not know Sawyer's phone number.

And this was precisely the matter that Amelia was in a hurry to find Sawyer to make it clear!

Amelia appeared outside Savannah's room according to her memory. After taking a breath, she raised her hand and knocked on the door.

The next second, a slightly hoarse voice came from the room, "Who is it?"

Amelia cleared her throat and raised her voice, "Savannah, it's me...Amelia! Is it convenient for you to open the door?"

The room became quiet.

Amelia did not dare to rush Savannah. Her intuition told her that Savannah might not be in a good mood at this time.

After a while, the door opened. Savannah forced a smile and said. "Ms. Ramsay, what can I do for you?"

Although Savannah had concealed it, Amelia still noticed her bloodshot eyes, which was more severe than the time she sent the cookies to Abner and her.

This was enough to prove that Savannah went back to her room and burst into tears.

As for the reason, it probably had something to do with Uncle Quartley.

While thinking, Amelia looked away slightly, pretending that she did not notice Savannah's abnormal. "Well, it's nothing. It's just late. I should go back."

"Well...then I'll see you off," Savannah said.

Amelia hurriedly said, "It's okay! I just need to make a phone call to Mr. Sawyer, and he will arrange the transport for me."

"Well, that's good." Savannah said absent-mindedly.

Amelia looked at Savannah longingly, and she thought, "Wasn't my hint obvious?

Alright then.

Seeing that Savannah was still daydreaming, Amelia had no choice but to speak up, "Um..."

Hearing that, Savannah's eyes wandered, and she replied, "Hmm?"

Amelia rubbed her hands awkwardly and said, "I don't have Mr. Sawyer's phone number. Do you have it?"

Savannah finally realized and said understandingly, "Yes, yes. Please wait a moment, Ms. Ramsay. I'll check it in my room."

"Yes, it's me." Amelia continued bluntly, "Sawyer, let me ask you. When Uncle Quartley asked you to marry me, what did you feel?"

Savannah, who was on the side, changed her face slightly when she heard Amelia's words.

Sawyer replied lightly, "I don't have any feelings."

Amelia retorted quickly, "You're wrong, you felt disgust!"

Sawyer chuckled, "You weren't there at the time, so how would you know that I'm disgusted of you?"

Amelia then said, "Because you have a conflict with Uncle Quartley. Surely, you'll hate all the arrangements Uncle Quartley made for you."

Savannah pursed her lips upon hearing this.

At the other side of the phone, Sawyer seemed to pause for a moment. "You're just using this to draw a conclusion? Isn't that a bit too sloppy?"

Amelia said, "That's not all I rely on."

"Oh?" Sawyer responded lightly. "Then I'm all ears."

Amelia recalled, "You told Uncle Quartley that Kaiden is interested in me, but who doesn't know that Kaiden had misogyny? What's the difference between that and asking me to be with a gay? Sawyer, you successfully insulted me and even embarrassed Uncle Quartley, which proved that you hated me in your heart, which is why you felt disgust of me!"

Sawyer replied in an unhurried manner, "Ms. Ramsay, the reason I said that was because I wanted to bring a romance to a happy ending. You've unraveled my good intentions."

Amelia sneered and said, "I can't do anything to you if you don't want to admit it. But since you have already expressed to Uncle Quartley that you've no interest in me, shouldn't you find a time to explain it clearly to the people on your island and asked them don't treat me as your wife and Abner's mother?

We are adults, and we can distinguish true and false, but Abner is a child who lacks maternal love. It's easy for him to take other people's gossip as his own. If he takes it seriously, how are you going to explain it to him?"

Sawyer went silent for a moment. And finally, he answered Amelia solemnly. "I understand. Thank you for your reminder."

"I am glad to reach an agreement with you on this matter!" After saying ironically, Amelia immediately added, "By the way, I am leaving the island now. I think this requires your permission."
