Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1245

It was a normal thing to envy what was lacked. Kaiden happened to have the things that Brittany lacked, so Alice could not help praising him.

On the other side...

Amelia was speechless as the jam was greasy to her that day.

She swallowed the second half of the sandwich with great difficulty and chugged down a big glass of milk. Before Kaiden could continue to be closer with Alice, she grabbed him by the collar and pull him up.

"Wow, what are you doing?" Kaiden let out a low cry and looked towards Amelia.

"You're full." Amelia held his collar tightly, wishing it could make him lose his breath.

"I haven't..." Kaiden was in a hurry to defend himself.

"You're full!" Amelia's voice sank.

"Well, Aunt Alice, I'm full." Kaiden said to Alice with his head lowered.

Amelia curled her lips with satisfaction and said to Alice who wanted to share more tips to Kaiden,

"Aunt Alice, it's getting late. It's time for us to go to work. Please continue on with your breakfast. If you're not feeling well, I'll ask someone to take care of Brittany in the hospital. You should catch up some rest at home."

Alice stopped her words for Kaiden and smiled at Amelia. "I've got it. Safe journey to work."

"By the way, Aunt Alice, if you trust me, please do not visit Brittany first. You know her character of making a fuss out of little things. If she sees you and starts creating trouble again, it wouldn't be good" Amelia continued.

Alice's eyes dimmed for quite a while before she said, "Amelia, I'll listen to all of your words."

"Well, Aunt Alice, we're leaving."

"Aunt Alice, see you next time!" Before Kaiden could finish his greeting, Amelia dragged his collar and walked outside.

Of course, given Kaiden's height, it was impossible for Amelia to drag his collar up high. It was purely because the young man had bent his knees to be at her height and let her drag him away.

In Alice's eyes, the scene seemed somewhat obsequious so she could not help but said to Amelia, "Amelia, stop bullying him."

Amelia was speechless in anger. Although Kaiden looked innocent like a little rabbit, he was more scheming in his mind as compared to girls!

"It doesn't matter, Aunt Alice. President Ramsay normally likes to play with me like this. I am used to it!"

Kaiden sounded like he was helping Amelia out. But, in fact, he was making things worse.

Under Alice's eyes that were filled with shock, Amelia got so angry that she let go of Kaiden's collar and turned to kick him in the leg. Then, she turned around and picked up the bag that was hanging on the chair and left.

Kaiden let out a 'hey' and hurriedly turned to Alice and said, "Aunt Alice, I'm leaving too. I'll consult you again next time!"

"Sure, you're always welcome!," Alice said gently.

After the two of them had left, Alice leaned her back against the the chair and gently rubbed her temples...

The maid behind who served her asked in a low voice, "Madam, are you alright?"

"Nothing serious, I'm just still a little tired."

Alice's heart vessels were hurt because of Brittany. The illness sounded as mysterious as lovesickness, but it truly existed and she needed to take good care of it.

The maid gently massaged Alice's temples as she probed, "But, I feel that Madam is in a better mood today."

Alice nodded. "That's right. It's all thanks to

Kaiden said as he meaningfully glanced at Amelia's chest.

"Kaiden, you're getting more shameless!"

Amelia now missed the youth who would smash things in a frenzy and run away in anger after being simply criticised by her.

"How can I chase after you if I'm not shameless?" Kaiden secretly took a tomato which Amelia had washed and munched it with his lips opened.

Amelia was so angry that she wanted to chop him with a knife. "You! Stop right away. This is for Shawn!"

Kaiden stopped munching and his gaze became dangerous. "What? Are you not going to work just so you can prepare breakfast for Shawn?!"

"You've got it wrong, it's lunch and dinner!" After correcting him subconsciously, Amelia curled her lips, "Well, why should I tell you these?"

Amelia lowered her head and continued to wash the ingredients in her hands, completely ignoring how horrible Kaiden's face had become.

"You've known me for so long but you haven't even brew me a cup of coffee or tea, not to mention preparing lunch for me. You've only known Shawn for a few days yet you're preparing two meals for him. How could this be?" Kaiden was so angry that he yelled.

Amelia said without looking up, "Purely because it was him who blocked the vase for me that day."

"Hmph!" Kaiden looked unconvinced. "If I had been present at that time, I would have definitely responded faster than him!"

"Don't make such sacrifice sound like it's something good, okay?"

Kaiden was speechless. If her meticulous care was the exchange for the sacrifice, he would be happy to be the one who had been hit by the vase!

Out of dissatisfaction, he squeezed the tomato left in his hand to a point where the tomato juices splashed out. But, he was filled with rage that he did not realize it at all...
