Kaiden quickly added, "If your office is small, then do cleave it open for expansion. I'll be able to design for you a new floor plan so that you can have a wider vision and a better environment to work in. As for my office, it was originally left unused by Daniel Phillips, and you only added a water dispenser to it. Other than that, I can't imagine how this would waste any of the resources of the company. If so, please inform me because I'm willing to compensate you."

Amelia drew out a cold breath. In front of Kaiden's expertise, the reason she had just given seemed to have been disapproved by him. "Do you have to do this?"

Kaiden looked at her surprisingly seriously. "Yes, I insist."

However, the more serious he was, the more afraid she was. The more she wanted to stay away from him.

"You misunderstood. I'm not looking for Kaiden, but I'm looking for his parents. May I ask if they are at home?"

When Kaiden heard that it was his mother who answered the phone, his face immediately changed and shouted, "Amelia, stop talking! Hurry up and hang up the phone!"

Amelia was happy to see his panicked reaction. She smiled and added, "Madam, your son has been pursuing me recently..."

All of a sudden, Kaiden's gaze went dark and his mood was ruined.

Amelia continued, "Haha, madam, please don't be that surprised. Although your son's heterosexual, I am already close to 30 years old and I just got divorced recently. Not to mention that I have a bad reputation amongst others. Are you sure you want your son to marry me into the family?"

"Amelia! Ramsay!" Kaiden was so furious that he felt his head smoking in anger. Now that things had already escalated to this, he could not be bothered to snatch Amelia's phone over anymore. He just stood there and stared at her, waiting for her to finish speaking.

Amelia continued to converse with a smile, "What? Madam, you want to know my name? Of course, that's fine. My surname is Ramsay, and Amelia is my first name."

His mother scolded, "You brat, speak louder!"

The space between Kaiden's brows trembled, and then he almost roared out, "Yes! The reason why I entered her company is because I wanted to pursue her and benefit from her influence!"

Kaiden's mother was silent for a while. "Influence? In your heart, that woman is someone important, but in mother's heart, do you want to know what she is to me?"

At this moment, Kaiden felt an irrepressible pain in his heart towards Amelia. He naturally sensed his mother's disdain towards her, and the more this was done, the more he felt like he was indebted to Amelia and her child.
