While Amelia scolded Sawyer on the phone, she had no idea that the person on the other side had become Sawyer.
When she had finished her scolding in one breath, Sawyer's voice slowly came through, "Ms. Ramsay, I bet you should be tired after the scolding?"
"Sawyer!" Amelia gasped, then calmed down and sneered, "I didn't know that you like such excitement that you chose to listen to my scolding yourself."
Sawyer lightly said, "Ms. Ramsay's sincere words had made me clear of my image in your heart."
Amelia frowned and said, "It's good that you know it! Then don't bother me anymore!"
"But, the deal has been made. Ms. Ramsay, let's talk about Abner's problem."
"What's wrong with Abner?" Although she hated Sawyer, Abner was a good child so Amelia would treat them differently.
"He hasn't said a word for days, not even to me. So I doubt whether you have secretly taught him something." "Sawyer, please don't think of me as someone like you. I'm not that good at scheming! I'll never do such things as using your son as a tool to revenge on you!"
"If that's so, can you come over and have a look at Abner? He's probably only willing to talk to you now."
Sawyer unexpectedly sounded a little worried.
As the thought of Abner keeping quiet even if he had been injured appeared in Amelia's mind, she instantly got softhearted and said, "Well, you can just send Abner to my house like how you did last time. But, you must do that secretly. I don't want to get into any trouble again!"
Sawyer was not satisfied that he asked for more. "I don't agree. I have to be by Abner's side. If you don't come over, I'll bring Abner to personally visit you."
"Sawyer, do you have no trust in me?"
"That's not it, I just want to hear Abner's recent thoughts in person." Sawyer sounded a little anxious.
Amelia objected, "Sawyer, my photo with you and Abner had already caused me a lot of trouble. If you come over again this time and reveal your whereabouts intentionally or unintentionally, our relationship would seem more ambiguous. So, I can only welcome Abner at most. As for you, you may just stay and relax in your island! That's it. Goodbye!"
After Amelia hung up the phone, she scrunched her nose. She did not want to see Sawyer's hateful face at all!
Alice, who was sitting on the side could not help but said softly, "Amelia, is the little boy that I've met last time coming to our house?"
Amelia nodded and said in disgust, "Yes. His father can't handle him and wants me to go over to take care of his child. But, I'm not going! It's so far that I have to take a boat and cross the terrifying forest. The most important thing is that I hate Sawyer, who had made my tragic life worse!"
Two hours later.
Ding dong, ding dong.
As the doorbell rang, Amelia quickly closed the cookbook. She stood up from the sofa and muttered, "That's fast! Did they take a helicopter again?"
After dismissing the maid who was about to open the door, Amelia personally stepped forward and opened the door.
Other than Abner who was carrying a little schoolbag, there stood a very tall and handsome man on the stairs as well.
The smile on the man's face was emotionless and even condescending.
He could not help but said in a low voice, "You smile when you see her, but was indifferent when you see your mother. Are you trying to piss me off?"
When Amelia heard the word "mother", she said in shock, "What? Has Abner met Sissi already!?"
Noticing that the topic had successfully aroused Amelia's interest, Sawyer immediately made a deal with her, "I'll only tell you if you let me in."
"Are you saying that you've had someone disguise
as Patrick's father and take Sissi away from the hospital?"
Amelia thought it was completely ridiculous that such dramatic scenes had actually happened in real life!
She felt even more unbelievable about Patrick not going around to find Sissi after she was taken away from the hospital. Instead, he had disturbed her every day and had even taken his time to go on a blind date with Kayla!
Chaos, it was completely chaos!
Sawyer admitted to the matter, "Yes, it was all my order starting from my man unintentionally recognizing Sissi in the hospital until the entire plan was carried out."
Amelia could no longer hide her true thoughts. "Sawyer, you are truly terrifying! Who exactly are you? How did you find these strange people to work for you?"
"It's nothing." It was not that he was too filthy, but that she was just too innocent, Sawyer thought to himself.
Sawyer did not reveal to her that he had also asked someone to imitate her voice and called the newspaper publisher for 'her' to personally reveal the story involving him, Patrick and the woman with the surname 'R'.
