Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1364

At the moment, their quarrel had gotten severe to the point that it could not be ignored as the other guests around were looking at them while they seemed to have been disturbed.

Amelia was secretly stunned and then subconsciously glanced at Patrick, who was having his meal gracefully.

"What are you looking at?" Patrick was eating his meal but, his mind was on Amelia.

Since he had noticed, Amelia simply asked, "Did you plan everything, even knowing that they would quarrel because of this?"

Patrick flicked a meaningful glance at her.

Amelia immediately understood and could not help but glanced back with admiration.

Patrick smiled at her and said casually, "Let's continue with our meal. Your spaghetti is getting cold."

Amelia extremely admired him who was able to destroy the aunts' unity so easily without her knowing.

The argument between the aunts was still going on. They blindly blamed each other and seemed to have forgotten that the restaurant was accountable as well. Finally, some other guests could not stand them so they went to the restaurant owner to lodge a complaint...

When the aunts were invited to go out of the restaurant, Amelia was embarrassed. After all, she had argued with them and had contributed to such results...

With the emotions on her face, Patrick could not help but sneered. However, his target was the aunts who had been kicked out of the restaurant.

"Why sympathize with these uncultured folks? Haven't they accused upon impolite actions? Seems that they should be taught a lesson as well, Mrs. Hopper, just enjoy your meal."

"All right!" Amelia answered. She then quickly ignored the incident and began to eat happily.

After lunch, Amelia and Patrick visited some famous churches in Florentia.

By the time they came out of the Florence Cathedral, it was already afternoon.

The outer wall of the cathedral was shone by the setting sun, making it look even more sacred and honoured.

How glorious!

It would be great if she had a camera!

Amelia captured the picture of the cathedral by gesturing with her fingers, and then turned to look at the square with regrets.

There were many passers-by around, and the more eye-catching ones were the street performers and the artists.

Different from Amelia who was walking freely and casually, Patrick had been looking around vigilantly.

Whenever there was any sign of disturbance, he would pull Amelia into his arms without hesitation and hold her between his chest and arms.

"What's wrong with you?" Amelia felt that all his muscles were tight so she could not help looking up to ask.

Patrick looked down at her while his face with sharp features was full of tenderness at the moment. "Nothing, I just feel like hugging you."

Amelia's face suddenly turned pink and tender, which made Patrick want to pounce on it and take a bite.

Just as Patrick was about to do so, there came a crisp click sound from not far away.

Patrick immediately stopped from stealing a kiss and suddenly raised his eyes to glance at the

direction where the sound came from.

He saw a middle-aged man with a big beard fiddling with a camera while exclaiming, "Wow! Wow!"

Patrick squinted dangerously and said to Amelia, "Let's go and have a look."

"Okay." Amelia also wanted to know what the bearded man had captured.

Before they could go over, the bearded man came up to them on his own initiative, praising them as the most beautiful foreigners he had ever seen.

"It seems that he has not seen many foreigners." Amelia said with a smile.

"And then you took a picture of us?" Patrick glared at the bearded man coldly. They had not given him the right to take pictures.

The bearded man quickly explained when he saw Patrick looking unkind. He had wanted to take a picture of the Florence Cathedral, but accidentally saw them hugging and kissing each other in front of it in the sunset. The bearded man felt that the picture was romantic and artistic so he could not help but captured it.

After listening to his explanation, Amelia wanted to say that it was not a big deal, but Patrick reached out his hand to the bearded man and said

seriously, "Give me the camera."

"OK!" The bearded man handed the camera to Patrick without hesitation.

Patrick lowered his head and took a quick glance. He was about to delete it, but Amelia stopped him with her hand and said. "Would you wait for a minute?"

"Okay." Patrick replied and then thoughtfully turned the camera to Amelia's side.

The bearded man was smiling next to them as he felt that Patrick would definitely look better after admiring the photo he took.

Patrick would not bother the bad temper of anyone other than Amelia so he immediately turned back and said to the bearded man, "Then delete it!"

"Don't..." Amelia was the one to disagree that time. She reached out to grab Patrick's clothes and looked at him as if she was in the urge to shed tears.

Patrick immediately lost his determination the moment he met her watery eyes.

He thought for a moment and said to the bearded man reluctantly, "Well, I'll exchange my phone number with you, and you may just send me the photo later."

The bearded man fixed his blue eyes at him for a while. He could not figure out why the handsome foreigner was so wary of him. Did he not just take a photo of them casually?

"Could you be fugitives?"

Amelia immediately burst into laughter as she thought the bearded man's mind was too novel.

Patrick was ridiculed by the bearded man and asked him back, "She's my wife. Is she beautiful?"

The bearded man did not hide his praise, "Yes! She is the most beautiful foreign woman I have ever

seen!"

Patrick nodded and said seriously, "I think so too. That's why I don't like her to have contact with other men, especially strangers, as it stresses me out. Could you understand if I put it this way?"

The bearded man came into realisation. It turned out that Patrick was not looking down on the photo he took being ugly. In fact, he had just loved his wife too much.

Therefore, they pleasantly exchanged their numbers after that.

After the bearded man repeatedly declared that he would not use the photo for business purposes while he would only keep it as his private collection, he waved farewell to Patrick and Amelia.

After the bearded man had left far away, Amelia turned back to look at Patrick and said happily, "Patrick, thank you for agreeing to keep this photo."

Patrick rubbed her head and said lovingly, "As long as you like it."

"What about you? Do you not... like it?" Amelia could not help but asked when she recalled him wanting to delete the photo without hesitation.

"That's not it, in fact, I like it very much! It's just that

I don't know where that beardy came from so I was worried about how and where he would make use of our photo." He did not want others to see Mrs. Hopper blushing in shyness. He would go crazy on this.

As he seemed worried when he said that he liked the photo, Amelia quickly comforted him. "Didn't he promise that he won't use it for business purposes? Since he would rather delete the photo than sell the camera to us, he should be a man of integrity, so don't worry."
