Sissi took a step forward and leaned into Sawyer's embrace, laughing and mocked, "Ms. Amelia, this is the first time I've heard Sawyer apologizing to someone. You must be honourable to him."

Amelia gave her a look of indifference and said, "That's my pleasure."

"All right, let's stop standing around here... Sawyer?" Sissi gave Sawyer a look with the air of a hostess.

Sawyer held Sissi's waist with one hand, then turned to Amelia and nodded. "Please come in, Ms. Amelia."

Under Sissi's scrutinizing gaze, Amelia stepped into the house. However, in another villa, Wayne and Richard changed their expressions.

Wayne could not keep his cool at all. "Didn't Sawyer invite Amelia here to discuss their cooperation? Why do you think he wants to bring Amelia and Sissi together in a room?"

Richard indicated for him to stay calm and replied, "I don't know. We won't find out until Sawyer reveals his purpose."

"Then what should we do now? Should we go over there and bring Amelia out?" Wayne's hand resorted to his waist quietly, which was his habitual posture whenever he unholstered his gun.

Richard shook his head, "Wait. When Amelia heard Sissi's name, she didn't sound angry or anxious. It's obvious that she, like us, knows that Sissi's with Sawyer. Since she didn't react much, then there's no need for us to make a fuss about it, so as not to ruin her negotiation with Sawyer."

"Oh." Wayne withdrew his hands and crossed them on the table. "Then we'll endure for a while more."

As he spoke, his stomach growled when he looked at the food on the table.

Richard heard him and could not help but remind, "To be safe, let's not eat anything here."

At the same time in another villa.

As soon as Amelia approached the living room, a little boy rushed into her embrace.

Her heart softened, and she could not help patting his black hair. "Abner, are you all right?"

After Abner hugged Amelia, he looked up at her. "Amelia... I miss you so much..."

Sissi heard his murmurs and could not help but clench her fists, her nails etched into her palms, causing out a heart-wrenching pain.

That was her child! But, he was in the arms of the woman she hated the most as if Amelia was his biological mother!

"Amelia Ramsay, it's fine that you snatched Patrick from me. But, you're also trying to take my son away now? Are you going to take Sawyer away from me too?" thought Sissi to herself.

No! She would never allow it!

After the complex feelings washed over her, Sissi forced a smile and walked toward Amelia and Abner, who were chatting together.

Meanwhile, Sawyer was secretly observing her from the side.

Sissi stepped forward and put her hands on Abner's shoulders as if she was declaring ownership. She lowered her head and said in a soft voice, "Abner, look at you. You've forgotten about your mom and dad after seeing Amelia. You're making me sad."

Abner stiffened for a moment, then he looked up at Amelia to ask for help with his huge dark eyes.

Amelia could not bear to refuse him, so she put a hand around Abner's back to protect him, taking a step back and helped Abner to get away from Sissi's control.

Sissi’s hands were empty all of a sudden, and she made an excuse to embarrass Amelia.

As an outsider, she should not have taken Abner away from Sissi. It was not appropriate, even if it was just a small action!

At the thought of this, Amelia lowered her hand that was resting on Abner's quietly. She said lightly, "Please forgive my presumption."

Sissi did not intend to let Amelia go so easily. "Can you make up for the damages you dealt with my relationship with my son with just a simple excuse of your 'presumption'?"

So, Sissi would not let this slide until she heard the word I'm sorry' from Amelia?

Amelia smiled. She ignored Sissi and said to Sawyer slowly, "Mr. Sawyer, I think today isn't the time for us to talk about the contract. We'll discuss it next time."

When the words came out from Amelia's mouth, Sissi's discontent increased as she did not want Amelia to make another appointment with Sawyer. Who knew if this vixen would seduce Sawyer when she was not paying attention?

"Ms. Amelia, please wait." Sawyer seemed to have seen enough of the show and finally spoke, "Sissi's only envious of your relationship with Abner. She didn't mean it. She's also told me before that if possible, she wanted to ask you in person how to get closer to Abner."
