"This... this... is this all real?"

Brittany's words and Amelia's reaction made the managers, who were still confounded, feeling more suspicious of the authenticity of the matter.

"Of course, it's all true. What are you still suspecting? Aren't you all seeing how Madam Ramsay panicked?"

Kaleb's followers who were scattered in the corners, began to speak to further increase the suspicions of the managers.

"Brittany, where did you get all of these?"

Finally, Amelia put down the file in her hand. She raised her reddened eyes and stared at Brittany.

Brittany narrowed her eyes and confessed, "I found these in a safe in Dad's study."

"How did you get the password to Dad's safe? Did Dad tell you that when he woke up?"

Amelia's question was sharp. Everyone knew that George was still in a coma, so he could not have told Brittany the password.

However, Brittany came well prepared. "You don't have to worry about this. I'm Dad's biological daughter, so it's easy for me to get the password to the safe. Instead of being entangled in this, why don't you think about how you are going to explain who you are to the directors and Uncle Derrick? You've been a dog in a manger for so many years. How shameless of you."

Amelia forced herself to take a deep breath and asked, "Since you can't explain this, then how can I know that you didn't make all of this stuff up?"

She had a point!

It was rumoured that the two sisters of the Ramsay family did not get along well with each other, and the younger one had even stolen her elder sister's fiance. Could it be that Brittany had planned this on purpose to take revenge on Amelia?

The managers of Apex Construction Corporation, who had worked together with Amelia for quite some time, were more partial towards Amelia.

"Do you want us to go to Dad's hospital right now for a DNA test?" Brittany quickly asked, showing that she was truly fearless.

But, how could Amelia backtrack?

She, above everyone else wanted to know the answer to this!

"Okay! Let's go!"

Brittany stared at Amelia with a scornful sneer. What did Amelia mean by that? She would never be convinced until she was

faced with the grim reality!

But it did not matter, as Brittany would soon make Amelia cry.

"Very well then. Let's go." After a pause, Brittany turned back and said to Derrick fawningly, "Uncle Derrick, you're the representative of the Simmons family, so I hope you can come to the hospital with us to witness the scene."

Derrick merely responded to Brittany with a hum as an acknowledgement, which was enough to fill her up with joy.

When Derrick got up, Brittany immediately reached out to assist him. Derrick did not avoid her, which made Amelia felt aggrieved.

But, it did not matter to her. What she needed to figure out was her true identity!

After Amelia made up her mind, she quickly got up from her chair. But suddenly, she fell back into the chair, and her world went black.

"Madam Ramsay!" The people who cared about Amelia cried out one after another.

Jonathan heaved a sigh of relief. He was not in the mood to attend the meeting in place of Amelia too! His mind had drifted after Amelia when she left!

But if he did not step forward, this meeting would be dismissed. And once these managers walked out of the meeting room, rumours would spread like a virus. When that happened, no matter the matter was true or not, it would bear a great impact on Amelia!

Therefore, Jonathan decided to stay and asked the managers to do the same as if they were having a 'meeting' to wait for Amelia to return with the DNA report.

"I hope what happened just now was just a farce."

Jonathan prayed silently in his heart.

When Amelia and Audrey strode out of the company, they saw a Porsche that was parked outside the entrance. Brittany helped Derrick into the car without hesitation. Unwilling to be left behind, Kaleb got into the car too. Since there were still two empty seats in the car, Amelia shot a look at Audrey.

Audrey nodded calmly and was about to get into the car when Brittany shouted, "Hey, hey! Not everybody can get in my car! Who are you? Go away!"

"You!" Audrey had never seen such an unruly young lady, and she could not help but get mad.

Amelia waved her left hand to stop Audrey's impulse. "Brittany, rest assured. Audrey's with me. I want her to get in the car. Do you have any problem with that?"

Normally, Brittany would have to concede when pressed by Amelia no matter how

unwilling she was.

But this time, Brittany refused. "Of course, I have an opinion about that. This car belongs to the Ramsay family. So naturally, it can only be used by people related to the family. Kaleb is my uncle, and Uncle Derrick is the father-in-law of the Ramsay family. I am honoured to give him a ride. As for you and her, who do you think you are?"
