As her thoughts raced, Amelia reckoned that Patrick was about to arrive. So she could not help urging Kaiden again, "If there's nothing else, then please leave."

As Amelia kept driving him out, Kaiden could not help but became somewhat angry. "Amelia, are you really afraid of owing me a favor?"

Amelia nodded. Even if he was angry, there was nothing she could do.

This was exactly what Patrick wanted. He then kept Amelia behind him like an eagle protecting its cub and glared at Kaiden fiercely. "What are you trying to do to Amy?"

After Kaiden stood still, he unexpectedly did not fight back. He tidied his dress and said a reason he had prepared on the way, "I came to Madam Amelia Ramsay to talk about some work."

"Can't you watch your manners while you talk? Why did you have to drag her?" Patrick's arm was on Amelia's shoulder, showing an absolutely protective posture.

Amelia nodded, "I do have such thoughts, but with Kaiden's personality, he will definitely have incessant questioning. So, why don't we wait for Sawyer to tell him so that I can be in peace?"

"Well, you are right." Patrick was convinced. It could also be said that he would never doubt Amelia's words.
