Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1704

Patrick did not care what Sissi thought of him. All he wanted was to save the person he had missed so much. Besides, he did not intend to hurt Sissi, so he would not feel so guilty.

He said, "Sawyer, now the two of us loosen our hands at the same time and let them go to the person they wish to go to. Do you hear me clearly?"

Sawyer nodded expressionlessly. Sissi being caught was his omission. He should not have left her behind in the mall after receiving the emergency call from his subordinate, which resulted into such a scene!

And it was impossible for him not to save Sissi.

She was his woman, as well as Abner's mother. Meanwhile, Patrick was at the scene. If he did not save Sissi, he would become a joke like Patrick, whom he had just ridiculed. At the same time, Amelia felt Sawyer's grip on her shoulders suddenly loosened, and she immediately rushed forward recklessly. She had completely ignored the guns aimed at her, as she only had Patrick in her eyes!

"Amy!" Patrick also let go of Sissi. When he saw Amelia running to him, his heart was suddenly at his mouth!

Of course, he would not simply stand still and wait for her to run over. Instead, he rushed forward to protect her into his arms!

When he held Amelia in his arms, Patrick suddenly felt the urge to cry. He held back all the words he wanted to talk to her and brought her back to where his men were.

Only then he lowered his head and stared closely at the lady in his arms. His voice sounded a little hoarse as he had forcefully suppressed his emotions. "Are you okay?"

Amelia nodded her head and said happily with sobs, "I'm fine! What about you?" As Amelia saw the dark circles under his eyes, she could not help reaching out her finger to touch him, but he pressed her back into his arms.

"Amy, don't move around. Just stay obediently in my arms, okay?"

Amelia nodded obediently and curled up in his arms, only revealing her emotional eyes staring at him fondly.

As for Sawyer, he immediately handed Sissi over to his men to be under protection after he got her back. While he himself raised a gun, wanting to shoot at Patrick!

At the moment, Patrick was exposing his back completely to Sawyer as he was protecting Amelia!

However, Patrick’s men were not to be trifled with either. Once they saw Sawyer go back on his words, they immediately blocked themselves in front of Patrick to protect him.

As Sawyer saw this, he immediately realised that he had lost the best timing to shoot, so he slowly lowered his gun again.

"Sawyer! You can't let them go!" Sissi shouted at the moment. "If we don't kill them now, they will definitely come back and retaliate against us by all means!"

Sissi decided to have them killed as she might be betrayed by Patrick at any time otherwise.

Once Sawyer knew that it was her who had leaked everything to Patrick, she would be in huge trouble!

Originally, she still had trust for Patrick and thought that he would not betray her. That was why she had wanted to make use of him to get Amelia out of Sawyer's life.

But she no longer had any expectations of Patrick. Not only did she become hopeless, she even wished that he and Amelia could both die right away. And she would no longer have to worry about any disturbance!

Sissi's shout was sharp and displeasing to the ears of Patrick and Sawyer.

If it were not for the circumstances for the moment, Sawyer would have asked Sissi not to think too highly of herself and mess around. He had only wanted to go after Patrick from beginning to end. As for Amelia, he had to admit that... he had long lost the desire to kill her.

Patrick originally wanted to just ignore Sissi and focus on dealing with Sawyer. But her words provoked his vengeful character even for minor matters, "Sissi, I've almost forgotten you if you didn't speak just now. I want to thank you that I'm able to save Amy today. It's all thanks to your help."

Sissi's face turned pale as she heard this.

As Sissi saw that Sawyer was throwing a glance at her, she immediately yelled at Patrick, "I don't understand what you're talking about!"

With regards to her denial, Patrick merely moved his lips and immediately said to Sawyer, "Didn't you just ask me how I was able to find this place?"

"Sawyer, end his life!" Sissi said hysterically, being really anxious in the face of trouble.

However, it did not stop Patrick from continuing. "I depended on no one else but the woman beside you."

Sawyer's brow furrowed slightly.

When tears fell from Sissi's eyes, Sawyer removed his hand in disgust and ordered his men to take her out of his sight!

"Sawyer! Sawyer... I can explain! Don't leave me alone, I really know I was wrong..."

As she was dragged further away, Sissi sobbed all the way, but no one cared for her.

"It seems that you also don't love her as much as you used to do." Patrick did not say it as mockery or provocation, but to vent his emotion.

Their past experiences let them know clearly how much each other had cared about Sissi. It was precisely because of this that they were filled with emotions regarding all the happenings that day.

The woman who had once been cared for and satisfied by them was unconsciously pampered into a pitiful woman who could not live without a man. What was sadder was that she had lost all conscience just to defeat the rival in her heart.

Previously, Sawyer might have wanted to live on with Sissi after taking a break. But for the time being, his determination to do so had become weaker and weaker.

"She has changed a lot." After briefly responding to Patrick expressionlessly, Sawyer glanced at Amelia and added, "No wonder you didn't go mad when I touched Amelia. It turned out that you already knew that she's my sister."

"Yes, but I still hate it when other men touch Amy, especially you."

"But I am exactly the one closest to her other than her parents. Have you ever asked for my permission regarding your wish to marry her?"

"You said that Amy is your sister, but does she recognise you as a brother?" Patrick then looked down at Amelia with a gentle gaze. "What do you think, Amy?"

Amelia shook her head firmly.

Sawyer soon became gloomy, but he still maintained his cool and asked, "My sister, have you forgotten all the happy moments we’ve spent together? I even promised you that I'd bring you back to the Home of Quartley to get back with your family."

Amelia then smiled and answered with a relaxed feeling in relief, "Those happy moments were just a play by you and I. As for returning to the Home of Quartley, I know very well what my arrival will bring to Uncle Quartley and Aunt Ruth. To be honest, I have never thought of facing Uncle Quartley with the identity of a daughter."
