Amelia was like a switch controlling Patrick, making him change between unease and peace of mind.
After George and his wife came back from their walk, Patrick was almost full of energy. He was originally an energetic person, so even if he was tired, he recovered faster than ordinary people.
After waking up, he met Amelia's caring eyes and could not help asking, "Have you been accompanying me all the time?"
"Well, besides going to the toilet, I have been with you." After saying that, Amelia closed the newspaper on her leg.
Patrick touched his bangs and said reluctantly, "No wonder I slept so soundly."
Amelia's beautiful eyes curved and said, "Go back to the room to sleep tonight."
Patrick asked, "What about dad and Alice?"
"Ill guard them."
"No." Patrick denied instantly. "How can a pregnant woman guard them at night? Are you looking down on me?"
Hearing that, Amelia hurriedly said, "I'm just afraid that you're too tired."
"I'm not tired. I just charged myself and I'm in good spirits. It's okay even if I don't sleep all night."
Amelia sighed and said, "You can go on and pretend to be strong, my child's father."
Patrick said dotingly, "Don’t worry about me, my child's mother."

Three hours ago.
Home of Smith.
Hobart cursed after receiving a call from one of his men who went to teach Milton a lesson, "You can't even handle a disabled person? How useless are you?"
A few seconds later, Hobart's face froze slightly, and then he burst out with greater anger, "What? You mean Patrick’s men attacked you?"
The person on the other end of the line replied nervously, "Yes, yes, they said Milton is Patrick's friend.”
Hobart yelled, "F*ck that! They're clearly rivals in love!"
The person on the other end of the line did not understand what he meant and could only ask, "Mr. Smith, what should we do now?"
"You'd better find another chance to beat Milton up! It's better if you can break his other hand and leg to vent my hatred!" Hobart said fiercely.
The person on the other side said, "But, but we can't defeat Patrick's men. Mr. Smith, why don't you send more people to support us?"
Hobart knew how difficult it was to deal with Patrick, so he agreed and said, "Okay. I'll send you two more times the number of people. Help me to settle not only Milton but also Patrick's men!"
He didn't want Patrick to interfere with his feud with Milton!
The next morning.
Hobart's men reached the outside of the Home of Cook. More than 30 strong men were stopped by the security guards when they were about to enter the gate of the community.
First, they appeared in groups and most of them had evil faces.
Secondly, they were wearing such a thick coat before winter, and they didn't know if there were weapons in it.
The leader turned around and gave him a slap. "Sh*t! How can he come out with one hand and leg broken?"
As the leader's voice fell, a desolate wind blew. More than 30 people were in a mess in the wind.

Jarvy arrived at Maryanne's hotel at 8 o'clock. After last night's self-indulging, his mood had already calmed down considerably. After dismissing his feelings for Maryanne, he looked even more flawless.
How could a woman with serious injuries on her hands be his girlfriend? At best, she was just a plaything!
As long as he endured and won the bet, he would make Hobart regret his previous deception!
As he thought about it, he saw a beautiful woman sitting by the window of the restaurant. Unfortunately, her hand, which was holding a glass of wine, was ugly.
After Jarvy calmed down, he walked over and put one of his hands on the table in front of the woman. He bowed his head and smiled at her politely, "What's wrong? Why are you drinking in the early morning?"
When Maryanne heard this, the corners of her eyes twitched, like a butterfly flapping its wings, causing Jarvy's heart to skip a beat.
He forced himself to look at her hand. As soon as he saw her ugly hand, he lost his interest.
The next second, Maryanne put down the wine glass at the corner of her lips, stuck out her tongue, and swept over the wine stains on it. She then said lazily, "I'm afraid I'll be nervous to go out like this today, so I drank some wine to boost my courage."
"I see." Jarvy sneered in his heart. She did need to be nervous to go out with such a hand without gloves.
Maryanne waved the glass at him and asked, "Would you like some?"
Jarvy shook his head. "I don't need it."
