Yale was stunned and looked awkwardly at Rachel. He even patted his cheeks gently.
“I’m sorry, Ms. Lloyd. I take back what I said earlier.”
He clenched his toes, almost dying from embarrassment.
What was going on with Mr. Hunt? Why did he suddenly agree to Ms. Charlton’s offer? Wasn’t he in a relationship with Ms. Lloyd?
What exactly was happening?
Rachel knew there was no point eavesdropping on the rest of their conversation. She was clearly overthinking, to the point that she assumed that Tyler might get taken advantage of by Anne if he had a drop too much.
Right now, it seemed as though he wanted Anne to take advantage of him.
Rachel stood up, the look on her face deadly calm.
“Let’s head back.”
Yale was stunned. “Huh? Head back now? Shouldn’t we wait…”
“No need. We’ll only interrupt them.”
With that, Rachel stood up and left, not caring whether Yale left with her.
Yale looked worriedly at Tyler. Left with no other choice, he stood up and left the place with Rachel. If anything untoward were to happen to her, he wouldn’t be able to explain things to Mr. Hunt.
Yale followed Rachel into a car. Although Rachel didn’t look like she was in a bad mood, he could clearly feel the tension in the air.
Thankfully, Rachel’s aura wasn’t as frightening as that of Mr. Hunt’s, or he wouldn’t have survived.
Tyler, completely oblivious to the fact that Rachel and Yale were there a moment ago, continued chatting
with Anne.
Anne’s eyes lit up at Tyler’s agreement to consider her offer. She looked at Tyler with glistening eyes, as
though she had found the greatest treasure of all.
“Tyler, are you saying yes to me? Will you really consider being with me?”
“Give me a few days to think it through, but promise me this. No matter my response to you on this, you have to be objective about your decision regarding the proposal and not be affected by personal affairs.

Chapter 726
Otherwise, I’m afraid we won’t even be able to be friends in the future. That is my baseline.”
In actual fact, Anne cared nothing about the project.

It wasn’t very large–scale to begin with. She could have assigned someone else in her company to oversee this project, but she wanted more opportunities to interact with Tyler. It had been a long time since she last saw him.
If she could end up with him and ink a collaboration between both their companies, it would be great
news for her.
Tyler stood up. “Go back to your hotel room.”
“Oh yes, Tyler. You know, it’s rare that we’re both here. I have a friend who owns a holiday estate here. Shall we go there tomorrow for some rest and relaxation?” Anne suggested.
Tyler knew about that estate; it was spacious and came with great scenery, heaven on earth. Many rich clients and elite businessmen would swarm there during the holidays despite not being guaranteed a
place to stay.
