Chapter 773
Anne and Sheryn looked at Rachel, eyes wide with shock.
Rachel didn’t expect to get caught eavesdropping.
The three ladies exchanged glances with each other.
Finally, Anne explained anxiously, “Um… Ms. Lloyd, you should know Ms. Lyons, right? She’s Tyler’s cousin.”
Rachel crossed her arms before her chest and leaned against the table by the side, surveying Sheryn from head
to toe.
“Of course, I do. Come to think of it, you have nothing to do with Tyler now. Or did you run out of the money Howard gave you?”
Rachel admitted that her words weren’t pleasant to hear. Sheryn had given false testimony to help Howard. Although that matter was still left hanging, Rachel believed that the truth would come to light one day.
Sheryn scoffed, her face sullen as it always was whenever she saw Rachel.
“Don’t give me that! I’ve long broken off contact with Howard Ziegler. That fool is no match for my cousin. That’s all there is to him. It won’t take long for him to fall from glory.”
Rachel wasn’t in the mood to listen to Sheryn’s explanation. In fact, she didn’t even want to look at Sheryn.
“I don’t actually have a say in what ultimately happens to you. I think you’d better ask your cousin instead. To think you two are in cahoots with Sawyer…”

Sheryn tried to smooth things over, but it only made the fire in Rachel’s chest burn brighter.
She burst out laughing and looked at Sheryn in disdain.
“Ms. Lyons, do you have a screw loose? Or do you think I have? You and Anne put on such a grand show just to do me in! It’s mercy on my part not to immediately call the police on you. How dare you tell me to cover up for you?!

Sheryn was so panicked just now, she actually thought it was a good idea to ask Rachel to cover up for her. She didn’t consider the fact that Rachel would be eager to expose her to Tyler to get rid of another love rival.
Right now, the only person she could pin her hopes on was Anne.
Sheryn tugged the hem of Anne’s shirt and gave her a look, whispering, “Don’t you think very highly of her?
Talk to her about it!”
Anne stepped forward. With an ingratiating smile to Rachel, she said, “Ms. Lloyd, this is actually just a
