Chapter 804
“One more thing. The agreement makes it very clear. You give up your right to inherit Lloyd Enterprise and stay out of anything related to the Lloyd family,” Rachel said.
Yvette jerked her head up and tossed the document aside.
“Rachel, who do you think you are to treat me like this? That belongs to the Lloyd family! I’m part of it. It’s rightfully mine!”
“Rightfully?” Rachel sneered. “When you and Sasha ganged up to get the doctor to falsify Dad’s mental health report, did you ever once think about being a loyal daughter?”
Rachel stepped closer and forced Yvette back.
“Next time, you won’t get off this easy, Yvette. If you want to keep walking down the path to ruin, be my guest.”
At that moment, Jerry handed Rachel another document. It contained Sasha’s testimony, with detailed notes of how she and Yvette had schemed to steal the family assets.
Yvette’s face turned pale.
“Sign it, and you’ll still have a way to survive.” Rachel’s tone was cold. “If you try anything funny again, it won’t just be detention next time.”
Above them, the wind rustled through the treetops, sending a few yellowed leaves fluttering down.
Yvette stared at the document for a long time. Her nails dug deep into her palms. Finally, clenching her jaw, she signed her name at the bottom.
Rachel took the document from her hands, opened the car door, and was about to leave when Yvette called after
her.
“Why did you suddenly decide to let me out?”
Rachel froze for just a moment. “That has nothing to do with you.”
Yvette sneered. “Must be some dirty little secret. From what I know about you, there’s no way you’d let me off this easily.”
“If you already know I had no intention of letting you out, then you’d better behave yourself. Because if I can get you released, I can put you right back in.”
With that, Rachel got into the car, and it pulled away quickly.
Yvette stood there, watching as it disappeared down the road.
She then realized the detention center was so remote that there wasn’t even a bus stop nearby. How was she supposed to get back? She didn’t have a cent on her!
Rachel was despicable for driving all the way out here, but not even giving her a ride. How was she supposed to make it home now?

Meanwhile, in the car, Rachel was starting to feel a little unwell. Maybe it was the heat.
Jerry passed her a bottle of water. “Drink some. The weather’s pretty stuffy.”
“I’m fine. Compared to us, Yvette’s the one who should be panicking. After all, she has to walk back.”
It was a small punishment, but one that might teach Yvette a lasting lesson.
Jerry kept his hands on the wheel, but he seemed distracted.
“I really am worried. With the way Yvette is, do you think she’ll change? What if she goes back to her old ways like before?”
