Chapter 916
The seamstress and the salesperson were filled with words of admiration and praise for the couple before them.
“Look at how much Mr. Hunt dotes on his wife! My husband? He wanders all over the town and hasn’t been home for a month. My wedding was grand and extravagant, but my marriage didn’t live up to expectations.”
The salesperson said comfortingly to the seamstress, “Don’t say that. Your husband is not too bad. Although you don’t see him much, at least he gives you money.”
That made the seamstress feel slightly better.
“You’re right. If he hadn’t given me the money I needed to open this boutique, I would have remained an insignificant assistant of a company till today.”
The salesperson nodded. “Yeah. Good that you think that way. What’s more, you helped many newly–wed couples with this wedding gown boutique of yours.”
“You’re right.”
The sight of Rachel and Tyler being so loving toward one another was a comfort to the seamstress. This was what she had looked forward to when she first opened this boutique.
After Rachel was done picking her gown, she started urging Tyler.
“Don’t just focus on my gown. Go check out your suits. You can’t be careless about your choice of a wedding suit.”
Tyler was used to looking at documents, not clothes. Yale was always the one taking care of his dressing.
He grabbed Rachel’s hand and put it to his lips, kissing it tenderly.
“I’m really bad at picking clothes for myself. I’ll have to trouble you to help me, Mrs. Hunt.”
Rachel smiled, a look of pure bliss on her face.
“I have no choice but to pick some outfits for you. You’ll still have to see if you like it. We’ll get it only if you think it’s good.”
“No problem. I’ll be your mannequin for today. We’ll take whichever suit that catches your eye.
She led Tyler to the men’s section, where she found a shirt with gold patterns down the collar and cuffs. It looked sharp and elegant.
She made Tyler stretch his arms out so that she could gauge the fit. Her eyes lit up.
“This looks good. You’ll surely look suave in this.”
Tyler let Rachel adjust the collar. She got on her toes, her fingers tracing the edge of his collar.
She said with a chuckle, “I’ve never seen you dressed up so fancily. You look like you stepped right out of a medieval painting!”

The seamstress teased, “Mrs. Hunt, you have good taste! This is the latest arrival and the gold embroidery is hand–sewn, adding to the flair and elegance of this piece.”
Tyler saw the serious look on Rachel’s face and hooked her wrist with his pinky. “As long as you think it’s good. But…”
His tone changed as he said teasingly, “If it doesn’t fit when I try it on, you’ll have to take full responsibility, Mrs. Hunt.”
“So be it,” Rachel said as she glared at him, almost bursting out in laughter. She turned around and asked the salesperson for a size suitable for Tyler. “Try it on. I want to see the overall effect.”
Tyler entered the dressing room with the shirt in hand. Meanwhile, Rachel picked out another shirt and hung it outside the dressing room.
A while later, the door to the dressing room opened. Rachel’s heart skipped a beat.
Tyler wore a dark navy suit as he stood under the light. His shoulders were broad and accentuated the sharp edge of his jawline.
